Al Músico principal: sobre No destruyas: Salmo de Asaph: Cántico. ALABARÉMOSTE, oh Dios, alabaremos; que cercano está tu nombre: cuenten tus maravillas.
Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
E sua sede è nella pace, ed ha sua abitazione in Sionne.
Cuando yo tuviere tiempo, yo juzgaré rectamente.
When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
Ivi egli ha distrutta la forza degli archi, lo scudo, la spada, e la guerra.
Arruinábase la tierra y sus moradores: yo sostengo sus columnas. (Selah.)

O tu, che spandi mirabilmente tua luce dalle alte montagne: son rimasti conquisi tutti gli stolti di cuore.
Dije á los insensatos: No os infatuéis; y á los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno:
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
I said to the arrogant, “Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked, “Don’t lift up the horn.
Dormirono il loro sonno, e nulla trovarono nelle loro mani tutti questi uomini tesoreggianti.
No levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con cerviz erguida.
Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Al tuono delle tue minacce, o Dio di Giacobbe, si addormentarono i cavalieri.
Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto viene el ensalzamiento.
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
Terribile se' tu, e chi a te farà resistenza? l'ira tua è antica.
Mas Dios es el juez: á éste abate, y á aquél ensalza.
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Dal cielo facesti sentire il tuo giudizio: tremò la terra, e si tacque;
Porque el cáliz está en la mano de Jehová, y el vino es tinto, lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo: ciertamente sus heces chuparán y beberán todos los impíos de la tierra.
For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
Allorché Dio si levò su per far giudizio, per tutti salvare i mansueti della terra.
Mas yo anunciaré siempre, cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.
But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

L'uomo, che rifletterà, darà a te laude; e la fine de' suoi pensieri sarà di onorarti con giorni festivi.
Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores: los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.
All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
Offerite voti al Signore Dio vostro, e scioglieteli, o voi tutti, che stando intorno a lui gli presentate dei doni,

A lui terribile, a lui, che toglie lo spirito ai grandi, a lui, che è terribile ai re della terra. Orazione, colla quale il giusto parte si lamenta con Dio delle sue afflizioni, e parte celebra le opere di lui.
