Masquil de Asaph. ¿POR qué, oh Dios, nos has desechado para siempre? ¿por qué ha humeado tu furor contra las ovejas de tu dehesa?
O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Trae a memoria a Tu pueblo, el cual Tú compraste en tiempos antiguos, la tribu que Tú has redimido para ser Tu propia heredad, y el Monte Sion, donde Tú vives.
Acuérdate de tu congregación, que adquiriste de antiguo, cuando redimiste la vara de tu heredad; este monte de Sión, donde has habitado.
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
Ven, mira las ruinas total, todo el daño que el enemigo ha hecho en el Lugar Santo.
Levanta tus pies á los asolamientos eternos: á todo enemigo que ha hecho mal en el santuario.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
Tus adversarios rugieron en el medio de Tu lugar de reunión; levantaron sus banderas de batalla.
Tus enemigos han bramado en medio de tus sinagogas: han puesto sus divisas por señas.
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Arrebataron con hachas como en un bosque espeso.
Cualquiera se hacía famoso según que había levantado el hacha sobre los gruesos maderos.
A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
Ellos hicieron añicos y rompieron todos los grabados; ellos los rompieron con hachas y martillos.
Y ahora con hachas y martillos han quebrado todas sus entalladuras.
But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Ellos encendieron Tu santuario; ellos profanaron donde Tú vives, tumbándolo a la tierra.
Han puesto á fuego tus santuarios, han profanado el tabernáculo de tu nombre echándolo á tierra.
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Ellos dijeron en sus corazones: "Nosotros los destruiremos a todos." Ellos quemaron todos Tus lugares de reunión en la tierra.
Dijeron en su corazón: Destruyámoslos de una vez; han quemado todas las sinagogas de Dios en la tierra.
They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
Nosotros no vemos más señales; ya no hay más profeta, y nadie entre nosotros sabe cuánto tiempo durará esto.
No vemos ya nuestras señales: no hay más profeta; ni con nosotros hay quien sepa hasta cuándo.
We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
¿Por cuánto tiempo, Dios, lanzará el enemigo insultos a Ti? ¿Blasfemará el enemigo Tu nombre para siempre?
¿Hasta cuándo, oh Dios, el angustiador nos afrentará? ¿ha de blasfemar el enemigo perpetuamente tu nombre?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
¿Por qué retienes Tu mano, Tu mano derecha? Saca Tu mano derecha de Tu vestimenta y destrúyelos.
¿Por qué retraes tu mano, y tu diestra? ¿por qué la escondes dentro de tu seno?
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
Sin embargo, Dios ha sido mi rey desde tiempos antiguos, trayendo la salvación a la tierra.
Empero Dios es mi rey ya de antiguo; el que obra saludes en medio de la tierra.
For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.
Tú dividiste el mar con Tu fuerza; Tú aplastaste las cabezas de los monstruos marinos en las aguas.
Tú hendiste la mar con tu fortaleza: quebrantaste cabezas de ballenas en las aguas.
Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Tú aplastaste las cabezas de Leviatán; lo diste de comer a aquellos que vivían en el desierto.
Tú magullaste las cabezas del leviathán; dístelo por comida al pueblo de los desiertos.
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Tú abriste manantiales y arroyos; Tú secaste ríos caudalosos.
Tú abriste fuente y río; tú secaste ríos impetuosos.
Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
El día es Tuyo, y la noche es Tuya también; Tú estableciste el sol y la luna en su lugar.
Tuyo es el día, tuya también es la noche: tú aparejaste la luna y el sol.
The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
Tú has establecido todas las fronteras de la tierra; Tú has hecho el verano y el invierno.
Tú estableciste todos los términos de la tierra: el verano y el invierno tú los formaste.
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
Trae a memoria cómo el enemigo Te lanzó insultos, SEÑOR, y que un pueblo necio ha blasfemado Tu nombre.
Acuérdate de esto: que el enemigo ha dicho afrentas á Jehová, y que el pueblo insensato ha blasfemado tu nombre.
Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
No le entregues la vida de Tu paloma a un animal salvaje. No olvides la vida de Tu pueblo oprimido para siempre.
No entregues á las bestias el alma de tu tórtola: y no olvides para siempre la congregación de tus afligidos.
O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.
Recuerda Tu pacto, pues las regiones oscuras de la tierra están llenas de lugares de violencia.
Mira al pacto: porque las tenebrosidades de la tierra llenas están de habitaciones de violencia.
Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
No permitas que los oprimidos vuelvan en vergüenza; que los pobres y oprimidos alaben Tu nombre.
No vuelva avergonzado el abatido: el afligido y el menesteroso alabarán tu nombre.
O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
Levántate, Dios; defiende Tu propio honor; trae a memoria cómo los necios Te insultan todo el día.
Levántate, oh Dios, aboga tu causa: acuérdate de cómo el insensato te injuria cada día.
Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
No olvides la voz de Tus adversarios o el escándalo de aquellos que continuamente Te desafían.
No olvides las voces de tus enemigos: el alboroto de los que se levantan contra ti sube continuamente.
Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
