Nova Bíblia Viva
1Ó Deus, por que nos abandonou definitivamente? Qual a razão dessa sua ira contra nós, as ovelhas da sua pastagem?
2Lembre-se de que somos o seu povo escolhido, o povo que o Senhor comprou há muito tempo e libertou da escravidão para ser a sua propriedade. Lembre-se, Senhor, do monte Sião, o seu lar aqui na terra!
3Ande entre as ruínas da cidade e do templo! Veja que terrível destruição os inimigos fizeram.
4Lá onde o povo se reunia para o adorar, os inimigos deram seus gritos de guerra e hastearam suas bandeiras para comemorar a vitória.
5Pareciam lenhadores derrubando uma floresta.
6Quando entraram no templo com seus machados e machadinhas, destruíram o forro das paredes e as placas de madeira trabalhada.
7Incendiaram o seu templo; profanaram completamente o lugar da sua habitação; não deixaram pedra sobre pedra!
8Eles decidiram acabar de vez com a adoração a Deus, e por isso destruíram todos os lugares onde nosso povo se reunia para adorá-lo.
9Já não vemos os sinais miraculosos. Nossos profetas foram mortos, e não existe quem possa nos dizer quando esta nossa miséria vai terminar.
10Até quando, ó Deus, o inimigo vai continuar zombando de nós? Será que o adversário falará coisas horríveis do seu nome para sempre?
11Por que o Senhor fica de braços cruzados? Por que não estende a sua mão direita para acabar com eles?
12Mas Deus é o meu rei desde o começo da história; salva o seu povo em toda a terra.
13Com o seu poder dividiu ao meio as águas do mar e esmagou sobre as águas a cabeça das serpentes marinhas.
14Destruiu as cabeças do Leviatã, que acabaram servindo de alimento para os animais do deserto.
15O Senhor abriu fontes e regatos e secou grandes rios.
16O dia é seu, e sua é a noite; o Senhor estabeleceu o sol e a lua.
17O Senhor determinou os limites da terra; formou as estações, o verão e o inverno.
18Agora, ó Senhor, veja como o inimigo tem zombado do Senhor. Essa nação sem Deus e cheia de orgulho está dizendo coisas horríveis a respeito do seu nome!
19Não permita que a vida da sua pomba predileta seja destruída pelos animais selvagens; não se esqueça para sempre do seu povo fraco e indefeso; proteja a nossa vida!
20Lembre-se da sua aliança e das promessas, porque a violência se espalhou por toda a terra, em cada canto e lugar escuro.
21Não permita que os fracos e humildes sejam destruídos! Mude essa situação, para que os pobres e necessitados louvem o seu nome.
22Ó Deus, levante-se e defenda a nossa causa; dia e noite, sem parar, essa gente sem juízo ofende e despreza o Senhor.
23Não fique surdo aos gritos dos seus inimigos, nem ao barulho cada vez mais alto dos seus adversários.

1Masquil de Asaph. ¿POR qué, oh Dios, nos has desechado para siempre? ¿por qué ha humeado tu furor contra las ovejas de tu dehesa?
2Acuérdate de tu congregación, que adquiriste de antiguo, cuando redimiste la vara de tu heredad; este monte de Sión, donde has habitado.
3Levanta tus pies á los asolamientos eternos: á todo enemigo que ha hecho mal en el santuario.
4Tus enemigos han bramado en medio de tus sinagogas: han puesto sus divisas por señas.
5Cualquiera se hacía famoso según que había levantado el hacha sobre los gruesos maderos.
6Y ahora con hachas y martillos han quebrado todas sus entalladuras.
7Han puesto á fuego tus santuarios, han profanado el tabernáculo de tu nombre echándolo á tierra.
8Dijeron en su corazón: Destruyámoslos de una vez; han quemado todas las sinagogas de Dios en la tierra.
9No vemos ya nuestras señales: no hay más profeta; ni con nosotros hay quien sepa hasta cuándo.
10¿Hasta cuándo, oh Dios, el angustiador nos afrentará? ¿ha de blasfemar el enemigo perpetuamente tu nombre?
11¿Por qué retraes tu mano, y tu diestra? ¿por qué la escondes dentro de tu seno?
12Empero Dios es mi rey ya de antiguo; el que obra saludes en medio de la tierra.
13Tú hendiste la mar con tu fortaleza: quebrantaste cabezas de ballenas en las aguas.
14Tú magullaste las cabezas del leviathán; dístelo por comida al pueblo de los desiertos.
15Tú abriste fuente y río; tú secaste ríos impetuosos.
16Tuyo es el día, tuya también es la noche: tú aparejaste la luna y el sol.
17Tú estableciste todos los términos de la tierra: el verano y el invierno tú los formaste.
18Acuérdate de esto: que el enemigo ha dicho afrentas á Jehová, y que el pueblo insensato ha blasfemado tu nombre.
19No entregues á las bestias el alma de tu tórtola: y no olvides para siempre la congregación de tus afligidos.
20Mira al pacto: porque las tenebrosidades de la tierra llenas están de habitaciones de violencia.
21No vuelva avergonzado el abatido: el afligido y el menesteroso alabarán tu nombre.
22Levántate, oh Dios, aboga tu causa: acuérdate de cómo el insensato te injuria cada día.
23No olvides las voces de tus enemigos: el alboroto de los que se levantan contra ti sube continuamente.

1O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
2Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
3Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
4Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
5A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
8They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
9We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
10O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
12For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
14Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
16The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
17Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
18Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
20Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
23Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

1God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
2Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
3Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
4Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
5They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
6Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
7They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
8They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burned up all the places in the land where God was worshiped.
9We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there among us anyone who knows how long.
10How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
11Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
12Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.
13You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
14You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
15You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
16The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
17You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
18Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
19Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.
20Honor your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
21Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
22Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
23Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
