Salmo di intelligenza: di Asaph. E perchè, o Dio ci hai tu rigettati per sempre, si è infiammato il tuo sdegno contro le pecorelle della tua greggia?
Salmo de Asaph. CIERTAMENTE bueno es Dios á Israel, á los limpios de corazón.
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
Ricordati della tua congregazione, che tua fu fin da principio. Tu comperasti il dominio di tua eredità: il monte di Sion fu il luogo di tua abitazione.
Mas yo, casi se deslizaron mis pies; por poco resbalaron mis pasos.
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

Alza per sempre il tuo braccio contro la loro superbia: quanti mali ha commesso il nemico nel santuario!

E color che ti odiano se ne vantarono nel luogo stesso delle tue sommità.

Hanno poste (e non v'han fatto riflessione) le loro insegne; le insegne sulla sommità del tempio, come ad un capo di strada.
No están ellos en el trabajo humano; ni son azotados con los otros hombres.
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
They are free from burdens of men, neither are they plagued like other men.
Hanno similmente spezzate con accette le sue porte, come si fa degli alberi nella foresta: colle scure, e colle accette lo hanno atterrato.
Por tanto soberbia los corona: cúbrense de vestido de violencia.
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
Therefore pride is like a chain around their neck. Violence covers them like a garment.
Han dato fuoco al tuo santuario: han profanato il tabernacolo, che tu avevi sopra la terra.
Sus ojos están salidos de gruesos: logran con creces los antojos del corazón.
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
Their eyes bulge with fat. Their minds pass the limits of conceit.
Ha detto in cuor suo tutta la loro nazione: Leviam di sopra la terra tutti i giorni consagrati al culto di Dio.
Soltáronse, y hablan con maldad de hacer violencia; hablan con altanería.
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
They scoff and speak with malice. In arrogance, they threaten oppression.
E noi non veggiam que' nostri prodigj, né v'ha pia alcun profeta, ed egli più non ci riconosce.
Ponen en el cielo su boca, y su lengua pasea la tierra.
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
They have set their mouth in the heavens. Their tongue walks through the earth.
E fino a quando, o Dio, insulterà l'inimico, e l'avversario bestemmierà continuamente il tuo nome?
Por eso su pueblo vuelve aquí, y aguas de lleno les son exprimidas.
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
Therefore their people return to them, and they drink up waters of abundance.
E perché ritiri tu la tua mano? tira fuor dal tuo seno la tua destra una volta per sempre.
Y dicen: ¿Cómo sabe Dios? ¿y hay conocimiento en lo alto?
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
They say, “How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
Ma Dio, il quale da' secoli è nostro Re ha operato salute nel mezzo della terra.
He aquí estos impíos, sin ser turbados del mundo, alcanzaron riquezas.
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches.
Tu desti col tuo potere saldezza al mare: tu le teste de' dragoni conculcasti nelle acque.
Verdaderamente en vano he limpiado mi corazón, y lavado mis manos en inocencia;

Tuo è il giorno e tua è la notte: tu creasti l'aurora, ed il sole.

Tu facesti la terra, e i suoi confini: opera tua sono e l'estate, e la primavera.
Hasta que venido al santuario de Dios, entenderé la postrimería de ellos.
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

Di queste cose ricordati. Il nemico ha detti impropetrj contro il Signore: e un popolo stolto ha bestemmiato il tuo nome.

Non dare in poter delle bestie le anime di quelli, che te onorano, e non ti scordar per sempre dell'anime de' tuoi poveri.
¡Cómo han sido asolados! ¡cuán en un punto! Acabáronse, fenecieron con turbaciones.
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors.
Volgi lo sguardo alla tua alleanza; perocché i più oscuri nomini della terra hanno copia di case iniquamente occupate.
Como sueño del que despierta, así, Señor, cuando despertares, menospreciarás sus apariencias.
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
As a dream when one wakes up, so, Lord, when you awake, you will despise their fantasies.
L'uomo umiliato non si parta (da te) svergognato: il povero, e il bisognoso daran lodi al tuo nome.
Desazonóse á la verdad mi corazón, y en mis riñones sentía punzadas.
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

Levati su, o Signore, giudica la tua causa: ricordati degli oltraggi fatti a te, di quelli, che un popolo stolto ti fa tutto giorno.
Mas yo era ignorante, y no entendía: era como una bestia acerca de ti.
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you.
Non ti scordare delle voci de' tuoi nemici: la superbia di color, che ti odiano va sempre in su. Parla Cristo della tua podestà di giudicare tutti gli uomini. Egli condannerà, e punirà i superbi.
Con todo, yo siempre estuve contigo: trabaste de mi mano derecha.
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Hasme guiado según tu consejo, y después me recibirás en gloria.

¿A quién tengo yo en los cielos? Y fuera de ti nada deseo en la tierra.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Mi carne y mi corazón desfallecen: mas la roca de mi corazón y mi porción es Dios para siempre.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Porque he aquí, los que se alejan de ti perecerán: tú cortarás á todo aquel que fornicando, de ti se aparta.
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you.

Y en cuanto á mí, el acercarme á Dios es el bien: he puesto en el Señor Jehová mi esperanza, para contar todas tus obras.
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.
