Salmos 71
Biblia Torres Amat
1En ti, ¡oh Señor!, tengo puesta mi esperanza; no sea yo para siempre confundido.
2Líbrame por tu justicia, y sácame del peligro. Presta oídos a mis súplicas, y sálvame.
3Sé para mí un Dios protector, y un seguro asilo para ponerme a salvo, ya que tú eres mi fortaleza y mi refugio.
4Dios mío, líbrame de las manos del pecador, y de las manos del transgresor de la ley, y del inicuo;
5pues tú eres Señor, la expectación mía, tú ¡oh Señor! mi esperanza desde mi juventud.
6En ti me he apoyado desde el vientre de mi madre, desde cuando estaba en sus entrañas eres tú mi protector. Tú eres siempre el asunto de mis cánticos.
7Como una especie de prodigio, así soy mirado por muchos; mas tú eres un poderoso defensor.
8Llénese de loores mi boca, para cantar todo el día tu gloria y la grandeza tuya.
9No me abandones en el tiempo de la vejez; cuando me faltaren las fuerzas no me desampares.
10Pues mis enemigos prorrumpen en dicterios contra mí, y se han juntado en consejo los que estaban asechando mi vida,
11diciendo: Dios le ha desamparado; corred tras él, y prendedle, que ya no hay quien lo liberte.
12¡Oh Dios! no te alejes de mí. Acude, Dios mío, a socorrerme.
13Corridos queden y perezcan los que me calumnian; cubiertos sean de confusión y vergüenza los que procuran mi daño.
14Por mi parte no cesaré, ¡oh Señor!, de esperar en ti; y añadiré siempre nuevas alabanzas.
15Mi boca predicará tu justicia todo el día, y la salud que de ti viene. Como yo no entiendo de literatura o sabiduría mundana,
16me internaré en la consideración de las obras del Señor; de tu justicia, ¡oh Señor!, haré yo memoria.
17Tú, ¡oh Dios!, fuiste mi maestro desde mi tierna edad; y yo publicaré tus maravillas que he experimentado hasta ahora.
18Y tú, ¡oh Dios!, en mi vejez no me desampares, a fin de que anuncie el poder de tu brazo a toda la generación que vendrá;
19aquel tu poder y justicia, ¡oh Dios!, más sublimes que los cielos, y aquellas grandes cosas que has hecho. ¡Quién como tú, oh Dios mío!
20¡Cuántas y cuán acerbas tribulaciones me has hecho probar! Y vuelto a mí me has hecho revivir, y nuevamente me has sacado de los abismos de la tierra.
21Diste a conocer de mil maneras la magnificencia de tu gloria; y vuelto a mí me consolaste.
22Por lo que yo también celebraré, al son de instrumentos músicos, la fidelidad tuya en las promesas: Te cantaré salmos con la cítara, ¡oh Dios santo de Israel!
23De gozo rebosarán mis labios y el alma mía, que tú redimiste, al cantar tus alabanzas.
24Todo el día se empleará mi lengua en hablar de tu justicia; luego que los que procuran mi daño estén llenos de confusión y vergüenza.

1EN ti, oh Jehová, he esperado; no sea yo confuso para siempre.
2Hazme escapar, y líbrame en tu justicia: inclina tu oído y sálvame.
3Séme por peña de estancia, adonde recurra yo continuamente: mandado has que yo sea salvo; porque tú eres mi roca, y mi fortaleza.
4Dios mío, líbrame de la mano del impío, de la mano del perverso y violento.
5Porque tú, oh Señor Jehová, eres mi esperanza: seguridad mía desde mi juventud.
6Por ti he sido sustentado desde el vientre: de las entrañas de mi madre tú fuiste el que me sacaste: de ti será siempre mi alabanza.
7Como prodigio he sido á muchos; y tú mi refugio fuerte.
8Sea llena mi boca de tu alabanza, de tu gloria todo el día.
9No me deseches en el tiempo de la vejez; cuando mi fuerza se acabare, no me desampares.
10Porque mis enemigos han tratado de mí; y los que acechan mi alma, consultaron juntamente,
11Diciendo: Dios lo ha dejado: perseguid y tomadle, porque no hay quien le libre.
12Oh Dios, no te alejes de mí: Dios mío, acude presto á mi socorro.
13Sean avergonzados, fallezcan los adversarios de mi alma; sean cubiertos de vergüenza y de confusión los que mi mal buscan.
14Mas yo siempre esperaré, y añadiré sobre toda tu alabanza.
15Mi boca publicará tu justicia y tu salud todo el día, aunque no sé el número de ellas.
16Vendré á las valentías del Señor Jehová: haré memoria de sola tu justicia.
17Oh Dios, enseñásteme desde mi mocedad; y hasta ahora he manifestado tus maravillas.
18Y aun hasta la vejez y las canas; oh Dios, no me desampares, hasta que denuncie tu brazo á la posteridad, tus valentías á todos los que han de venir.
19Y tu justicia, oh Dios, hasta lo excelso; porque has hecho grandes cosas: oh Dios, ¿quién como tú?
20Tú, que me has hecho ver muchas angustias y males, volverás á darme vida, y de nuevo me levantarás de los abismos de la tierra.
21Aumentarás mi grandeza, y volverás á consolarme.
22Asimismo yo te alabaré con instrumento de salterio, oh Dios mío: tu verdad cantaré yo á ti en el arpa, oh Santo de Israel.
23Mis labios cantarán cuando á ti salmeare, y mi alma, á la cual redimiste.
24Mi lengua hablará también de tu justicia todo el día: por cuanto fueron avergonzados, porque fueron confusos los que mi mal procuraban.

1In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.
6By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.
7I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
9Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
11Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.
12O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
13Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
14But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
15My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.
16I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
19Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
20Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
22I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
World English Bible
1In you, LORD, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed.
2Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me.
3Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
4Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5For you are my hope, Lord GOD, my confidence from my youth.
6I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.
7I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge.
8My mouth shall be filled with your praise, with your honor all day long.
9Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails.
10For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together,
11saying, “God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.”
12God, don’t be far from me. My God, hurry to help me.
13Let my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me.
14But I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise.
15My mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don’t know its full measure.
16I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord GOD. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone.
17God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.
18Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come.
19God, your righteousness also reaches to the heavens. You have done great things. God, who is like you?
20You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
21Increase my honor and comfort me again.
22I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.
23My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!
24My tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long, for they are disappointed, and they are confounded, who want to harm me.
