1¿Cómo no estará mi alma sometida a Dios, dependiendo de él mi salvación?
2El es mi Dios y mi salvador ; siendo él mi defensa, no seré jamás conmovido.
3¿Hasta cuándo estaréis acometiendo a un hombre todos juntos para acabar con él, y derrocarle como a una pared desnivelada, y como a una tapia ruinosa?
4Mas ellos maquinaron despojarme de lo que más aprecio. Corrí como sediento; ellos hablaban bien de mí con la boca, mas en su corazón me maldecían.
5Tú, ¡oh alma mía!, mantente sujeta a Dios; pues de él viene mi paciencia.
6Porque siendo él, como es, mi Dios y mi salvador , y estando él en mi ayuda, no vacilaré.
7En Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria; Dios es el que me socorre; en Dios está la esperanza mía.
8Esperad en él vosotros, pueblos todos aquí congregados; derramad vuestros corazones en su acatamiento: Dios es nuestro protector eternamente.
9Al contrario, vanos y falaces son los hijos de los hombres; mentirosos son los hijos de los hombres puestos en balanza; todos ellos juntos son más livianos que la misma vanidad.
10No queráis confiar en la justicia, ni codiciar robos; aun si las riquezas os vienen en abundancia, no pongáis en ella vuestro corazón.
11Una vez habló Dios, y estas dos cosas oí yo: Que el poder está en Dios,
12y que tú, Señor, eres misericordioso; porque a cada uno remunerarás conforme a sus obras.

2El solamente es mi fuerte, y mi salud; es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.
3¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre? Pereceréis todos vosotros, caeréis como pared acostada, como cerca ruinosa.
4Solamente consultan de arrojarle de su grandeza; aman la mentira, con su boca bendicen, pero maldicen en sus entrañas. (Selah.)
5Alma mía, en Dios solamente reposa; porque de él es mi esperanza.
6El solamente es mi fuerte y mí salud: es mi refugio, no resbalaré.
7En Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria: en Dios está la roca de mi fortaleza, y mi refugio.
8Esperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos; derramad delante de él vuestro corazón: Dios es nuestro amparo. (Selah.)
9Por cierto, vanidad son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de varón: pesándolos á todos igualmente en la balanza, serán menos que la vanidad.
10No confiéis en la violencia, ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis: si se aumentare la hacienda, no pongáis el corazón en ella.
11Una vez habló Dios; dos veces he oído esto: Que de Dios es la fortaleza.
12Y de ti, oh Señor, es la misericordia: porque tú pagas á cada uno conforme á su obra.

1Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
World English Bible
1My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
2He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
3How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
4They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
6He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.
7My salvation and my honor is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
11God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
12Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
