In una terra deserta, che vie non ha, ed è mancante di acque, mi presentai a te come nel santuario, per contemplare la tua potenza, e la tua gloria.
El solamente es mi fuerte, y mi salud; es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Ma il re in Dio si allegrerà: avranno laude tutti coloro, che per lui giurano; perché è stata chiusa la bocca di coloro, che parlavano iniquamente. Chiede aiuto contro la malizia, e perversità de' nemici, e predice la loro rovina. Conviene a Cristo.
