Così io per tutti i secoli canterò inno di laude al nome tuo: per rendere ogni giorno i miei voti. Confidenza in Dio ne' grandi pericoli questa confidenza è la salute de' giusti. Dio rende a ciascuno secondo le sue operazioni.
Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio; sobre Edom echaré mi zapato: haz júbilo sobre mí, oh Palestina.
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.

Danos socorro contra el enemigo, que vana es la salud de los hombres.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
