1No destruyas a tu siervo.<CM><CM>Si verdaderamente hacéis profesión de la justicia, sean rectos vuestros juicios, ¡oh hijos de los hombres!
2Mas vosotros obráis inicuamente en vuestro corazón, y empleáis vuestras manos en tramar injusticias en la tierra.
3Los pecadores andan enajenados desde cuando nacieron; se descarriaron desde el vientre de sus madres; no hablan más que falsedades.
4Su furor es semejante al de una serpiente; como el del áspid que se hace sordo, que te tapa las orejas,
5y no quiere escuchar la voz de los encantadores, ni del hechicero por más diestro que sea en los encantamientos.
6Pero Dios les quebrará los dientes dentro de la misma boca; las muelas de esos leones las desmenuzará el Señor.
7Todos serán reducidos a la nada, como agua que pasa y se disipa; tenso tiene el Señor su arco hasta tanto que sean abatidos.
8Como la cera que se derrite, así serán deshechos; cayó fuego sobre ellos, y no vieron más el sol.
9Antes que los enemigos, que son, oh justos, vuestras espinas, lleguen a hacerse una zarza, vivos así como están los devorará el Señor en su ira.
10Se alegrará el justo al ver la venganza; y lavará sus manos en la sangre de los pecadores.
11Entonces dirán los hombres: Pues el justo recibe su galardón, es indudable que hay un Dios que ejerce su juicio sobre ellos en la tierra.

1Al Músico principal: sobre No destruyas: Michtam de David. OH congregación, ¿pronunciáis en verdad justicia? ¿juzgáis rectamente, hijos de los hombres?
2Antes con el corazón obráis iniquidades: hacéis pesar la violencia de vuestras manos en la tierra.
3Enajenáronse los impíos desde la matriz; descarriáronse desde el vientre, hablando mentira.
4Veneno tienen semejante al veneno de la serpiente: son como áspide sordo que cierra su oído;
5Que no oye la voz de los que encantan, por más hábil que el encantador sea.
6Oh Dios, quiebra sus dientes en sus bocas: quiebra, oh Jehová, las muelas de los leoncillos.
7Córranse como aguas que se van de suyo: en entesando sus saetas, luego sean hechas pedazos.
8Pasen ellos como el caracol que se deslíe: como el abortivo de mujer, no vean el sol.
9Antes que vuestras ollas sientan las espinas, así vivos, así airados, los arrebatará él con tempestad.
10Alegraráse el justo cuando viere la venganza: sus pies lavará en la sangre del impío.
11Entonces dirá el hombre: Ciertamente hay fruto para el justo; ciertamente hay Dios que juzga en la tierra.

1Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
2Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
3The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
4Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
5Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
6Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.
7Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
8As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
9Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
10The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
World English Bible
1Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones? Do you judge blamelessly, you sons of men?
2No, in your heart you plot injustice. You measure out the violence of your hands in the earth.
3The wicked go astray from the womb. They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
4Their poison is like the poison of a snake, like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,
5which doesn’t listen to the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful the charmer may be.
6Break their teeth, God, in their mouth. Break out the great teeth of the young lions, LORD.
7Let them vanish like water that flows away. When they draw the bow, let their arrows be made blunt.
8Let them be like a snail which melts and passes away, like the stillborn child, who has not seen the sun.
9Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns, he will sweep away the green and the burning alike.
10The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,
11so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”
