Alzerò le mie grida a Dio altissimo, a Dio mio benefattore.
Apúranme mis enemigos cada día; porque muchos son los que pelean contra mí, oh Altísimo.

Mandò Dio la sua misericordia, e la sua verità, e liberò l'anima mia di mezzo ai giovani leoni: conturbato mi addormentai. Dei figliuoli degli uomini sono i denti lance, e saette, e affilato coltello la loro lingua.
En Dios alabaré su palabra: en Dios he confiado, no temeré lo que la carne me hiciere.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Innalza te stesso, o Dio, sopra de' cieli, e la tua gloria per tutta la terra.
Todos los días me contristan mis negocios; contra mí son todos sus pensamientos para mal.
Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

Tesero mi laccio a' miei piedi, e vi fecer piegare l'anima mia. Scavarono dinanzi a me una fossa, e in essa sono caduti.
Reúnense, escóndense, miran ellos atentamente mis pasos, esperando mi vida.
They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
They conspire and lurk, watching my steps. They are eager to take my life.
Il mio cuore, o Dio, egli è preparato: egli è preparato il cuor mio: canterò, salmeggerò.

A te darò laude, o Signore, tra i popoli, e inni a te canterò tralle genti:
Serán luego vueltos atrás mis enemigos el día que yo clamare: en esto conozco que Dios es por mí.
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.
Imperocché si è innalzata fino a' cieli la tua misericordia, e fino alle nubi la tua verità.

Innalza te stesso, o Dio, sopra de' cieli la tua gloria per tutta quanta la terra. Gli empj periranno, e i giusti raccoglieranno il frutto delle loro buone opere, e si renderà manifesta la previdenza di Dio.
En Dios he confiado: no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
