Tesero mi laccio a' miei piedi, e vi fecer piegare l'anima mia. Scavarono dinanzi a me una fossa, e in essa sono caduti.

Reúnense, escóndense, miran ellos atentamente mis pasos, esperando mi vida.

They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

They conspire and lurk, watching my steps. They are eager to take my life.
