2als Doeg, der Edomiter, kam und dem Saul die Kunde brachte, dass David in das Haus Ahimelechs gekommen sei. (a) 1Sa 22:9-19
3Was rühmst du dich der Bosheit, Tyrann, / wider den Frommen allezeit? /
4Auf Verderben geht deine Zunge / wie ein scharfes Messer, du Ränkeschmied! /
5Du liebst das Böse mehr als das Gute, / mehr die Lüge als wahrhafte Rede. /
6Du liebst lauter verderbliches Reden mit trügerischer Zunge. /
7So wird dich Gott auch niederbrechen auf immer, / dich packen und herausreissen aus dem Zelte / und dich entwurzeln aus dem Lande der Lebenden. /
8Und die Gerechten werden es schauen und schaudern, / und sie werden seiner lachen: /
9"Seht, das ist der Mann, der nicht Gott zu seiner Zuflucht machte, / der da vertraute auf seinen grossen Reichtum, / der da trotzte auf seine Schätze." / (a) Ps 49:7 Ich aber bin wie ein grünender Ölbaum im Hause Gottes, / ich verlasse mich auf Gottes Gnade immer und ewig. / Ich will dich immerdar preisen, denn du machst es wohl, / will vor deinen Frommen verkünden, / dass dein Name voll Güte ist.

2Agravios maquina tu lengua: como navaja amolada hace engaño.
3Amaste el mal más que el bien; la mentira más que hablar justicia. (Selah.)
4Has amado toda suerte de palabras perniciosas, engañosa lengua.
5Por tanto Dios te derribará para siempre: te asolará y te arrancará de tu morada, y te desarraigará de la tierra de los vivientes. (Selah.)
6Y verán los justos, y temerán; y reiránse de él, diciendo:
7He aquí el hombre que no puso á Dios por su fortaleza, sino que confió en la multitud de sus riquezas, y se mantuvo en su maldad.
8Mas yo estoy como oliva verde en la casa de Dios: en la misericordia de Dios confío perpetua y eternalmente.
9Te alabaré para siempre por lo que has hecho: y esperaré en tu nombre, porque es bueno, delante de tus santos.

1Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
2Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
5God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
6The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

1Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man? God’s loving kindness endures continually.
2Your tongue plots destruction, like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3You love evil more than good, lying rather than speaking the truth. Selah.
4You love all devouring words, you deceitful tongue.
5God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.
6The righteous also will see it, and fear, and laugh at him, saying,
7“Behold, this is the man who didn’t make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.”
8But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God’s house. I trust in God’s loving kindness forever and ever.
9I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it. I will hope in your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints.
