1Así que lo invoqué, me oyó Dios, que es mi justicia; tú, ¡oh Dios mío!, en mi angustia me ensanchaste el corazón. Apiádate aún de mí, y presta oídos a mi oración.
2¡Oh, hijos de los hombres!, ¿hasta cuándo seréis de estúpido corazón?; ¿por qué amáis la vanidad y vais en pos de la mentira?
3Sabed, pues, que es el Señor quien ha hecho admirable su Santo: el Señor me oirá siempre que clamare a él.
4Enojaos, y no queráis pecar más; compungíos en el retiro de vuestros lechos de las cosas que andáis meditando en vuestros corazones.
5Ofreced sacrificios de justicia, y confiad en el Señor. Dicen muchos: ¿Quién nos hará ver los bienes que se nos prometen?
6Impresa está, Señor, sobre nosotros la luz de tu rostro: tú has infundido la alegría en mi corazón.
7Ellos están bien abastecidos y alegres con la abundancia de su trigo, vino y aceite.
8Mas yo, Dios mío, dormiré en paz, y descansaré en tus promesas: Porque tú, ¡Oh Señor!, sólo tú has asegurado mi esperanza.

1Al Músico principal: sobre Neginoth: Salmo de David. RESPÓNDEME cuando clamo, oh Dios de mi justicia: estando en angustia, tú me hiciste ensanchar: ten misericordia de mí, y oye mi oración.
2Hijos de los hombres, ¿hasta cuándo volveréis mi honra en infamia, amaréis la vanidad, y buscaréis la mentira? (Selah.)
3Sabed pues, que Jehová hizo apartar al pío para sí: Jehová oirá cuando yo á él clamare.
4Temblad, y no pequéis: conversad en vuestro corazón sobre vuestra cama, y desistid. (Selah.)
5Ofreced sacrificios de justicia, y confiad en Jehová.
6Muchos dicen: ¿Quién nos mostrará el bien? Alza sobre nosotros, oh Jehová, la luz de tu rostro.
7Tú diste alegría en mi corazón, más que tienen ellos en el tiempo que se multiplicó su grano y su mosto.
8En paz me acostaré, y asimismo dormiré; porque solo tú, Jehová, me harás estar confiado.

1Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
2O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
3But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
7Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
8I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
World English Bible
1Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3But know that the LORD has set apart for himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to him.
4Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in the LORD.
6Many say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, let the light of your face shine on us.
7You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
8In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
