1Unto the end. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.
2Hear these things, all nations. Pay attention, all inhabitants of the world:
3whoever is earth-born, you sons of men, together as one, the rich and the poor.
4My mouth will speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will speak prudence.
5I will incline my ear to a parable. I will open my case with the psaltery.
6Why should I fear in the evil day? The iniquity at my heel will surround me.
7Those who trust in their own strength and who glory in the multitude of their riches,
8no brother redeems, nor will man buy back. He will not give to God his appeasement,
9nor the price for the redemption of his soul. And he will labor continuously,
10and he will still live, until the end.
11He will not see death, when he sees the wise dying: the foolish and the senseless will perish together. And they will leave their riches to strangers.
12And their sepulchers will be their houses forever, their tabernacles from generation to generation. They have called their names in their own lands.
13And man, when he was held in honor, did not understand. He has been compared to the senseless beasts, and he has become like them.
14This way of theirs is a scandal to them. And afterwards, they will delight in their mouth.
15They have been placed in Hell like sheep. Death will feed on them. And the just will have dominion over them in the morning. And their help will grow old in Hell for their glory.
16Even so, truly God will redeem my soul from the hand of Hell, when he will receive me.
17Do not be afraid, when a man will have been made rich, and when the glory of his house will have been multiplied.
18For when he dies, he will take nothing away, and his glory will not descend with him.
19For his soul will be blessed in his lifetime, and he will admit to you when you do good to him.
20He will even enter with the progeny of his fathers, but, even in eternity, he will not see the light.
21Man, when he was in honor, did not understand. He has been compared to the senseless beasts, and he has become like them.

1Canción: Salmo de los hijos de Coré. GRANDE es Jehová y digno de ser en gran manera alabado, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios, en el monte de su santuario.
2Hermosa provincia, el gozo de toda la tierra es el monte de Sión, á los lados del aquilón, la ciudad del gran Rey.
3Dios en sus palacios es conocido por refugio.
4Porque he aquí los reyes de la tierra se reunieron; pasaron todos.
5Y viéndola ellos así, maravilláronse, se turbaron, diéronse priesa á huir.
6Tomólos allí temblor; dolor, como á mujer que pare.
7Con viento solano quiebras tú las naves de Tharsis.
8Como lo oímos, así hemos visto en la ciudad de Jehová de los ejércitos, en la ciudad de nuestro Dios: afirmarála Dios para siempre. (Selah.)
9Esperamos tu misericordia, oh Dios, en medio de tu templo.
10Conforme á tu nombre, oh Dios, así es tu loor hasta los fines de la tierra: de justicia está llena tu diestra.
11Alegraráse el monte de Sión; se gozarán las hijas de Judá por tus juicios.
12Andad alrededor de Sión, y rodeadla: contad sus torres.
13Poned vuestro corazón á su antemuro, mirad sus palacios; para que lo contéis á la generación venidera.
14Porque este Dios es Dios nuestro eternalmente y para siempre: él nos capitaneará hasta la muerte.

1Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
2Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
3God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
4For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
5They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
6Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
7Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
8As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
9We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
10According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
11Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
12Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
13Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
14For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

2Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King.
3God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.
4For, behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together.
5They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed. They hurried away.
6Trembling took hold of them there, pain, as of a woman in travail.
7With the east wind, you break the ships of Tarshish.
8As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of the LORD of Armies, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. Selah.
9We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the middle of your temple.
10As is your name, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness.
11Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.
12Walk about Zion, and go around her. Number its towers.
13Notice her bulwarks. Consider her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation.
14For this God is our God forever and ever. He will be our guide even to death.
