1Au chef des chantres. Par les fils de Coré. Psaume.

2Vous tous, ô peuples, battez des mains; faites retentir des cris de joie en l’honneur de Dieu!

3Car l’Eternel est élevé, redoutable, un grand roi sur toute la terre.

4Il a soumis des nations à notre empire, jeté des peuples sous nos pieds.

5Il a choisi pour nous notre héritage, l’orgueil de Jacob qu’il affectionne. Sélah!

6Dieu s’élève dans les hauteurs parmi les acclamations, l’Eternel, au son de la trompette.

7Chantez Dieu, chantez! Chantez notre roi, chantez!

8Car Dieu est roi de toute la terre: entonnez un solennel cantique.

9Dieu règne sur les peuples, Dieu siège sur son trône de sainteté.

10Que les plus nobles d’entre les nations s’assemblent le peuple du Dieu d’Abraham! Car de Dieu relèvent ceux qui sont les boucliers de la terre: il est souverainement élevé.

2Porque Jehová el Altísimo es terrible; Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

3El sujetará á los pueblos debajo de nosotros, y á las gentes debajo de nuestros pies.

4El nos elegirá nuestras heredades; la hermosura de Jacob, al cual amó. (Selah.)

5Subió Dios con júbilo, Jehová con sonido de trompeta.

6Cantad á Dios, cantad: cantad á nuestro Rey, cantad.

7Porque Dios es el Rey de toda la tierra: cantad con inteligencia.

8Reinó Dios sobre las gentes: asentóse Dios sobre su santo trono.

9Los príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron al pueblo del Dios de Abraham: porque de Dios son los escudos de la tierra; él es muy ensalzado.

2For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

3He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

4He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

5God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

6Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

7For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

8God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

9The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
