Tú sacaste las naciones con Tu mano, pero estableciste nuestro pueblo; Tú afligiste a los pueblos, pero extendiste a nuestro pueblo a través de la tierra.
Tú con tu mano echaste las gentes, y los plantaste á ellos; afligiste los pueblos, y los arrojaste.
How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
Pues ellos no obtuvieron la tierra para su posesión por su propia espada, ni tampoco los salvó su propio brazo; sino que Tu mano derecha, Tu brazo y la luz de Tu presencia, porque fuiste favorable a ellos.
Porque no se apoderaron de la tierra por su espada, ni su brazo los libró; sino tu diestra, y tu brazo, y la luz de tu rostro, porque te complaciste en ellos.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Por medio de Ti nosotros someteremos a nuestros adversarios; por medio de Tu nombre los pisotearemos, los que se levanten contra nosotros.
Por medio de ti sacudiremos á nuestros enemigos: en tu nombre atropellaremos á nuestros adversarios.
Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
Pues yo no confiaré en mi arco, ni tampoco me salvará mi espada.

Pero Tú nos has salvado de nuestros adversarios, y has puesto en vergüenza a aquellos que nos odian.

Pero ahora Tú nos has rechazado y nos has traído deshonra, y Tú no sales con nuestros ejércitos.
Empero nos has desechado, y nos has hecho avergonzar; y no sales en nuestros ejércitos.
But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
Tú nos haces volver del adversario; y aquellos que nos odian toman despojos para sí.
Nos hiciste retroceder del enemigo, y saqueáronnos para sí los que nos aborrecían.
Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.
Tú nos has hecho como ovejas destinadas a ser alimento y nos has dispersado entre las naciones.
Pusístenos como á ovejas para comida, y esparcístenos entre las gentes.
Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.
Tú vendes a Tu pueblo por nada; no has aumentado Tu riqueza al hacerlo así.
Has vendido tu pueblo de balde, y no pujaste en sus precios.
Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.
Tú nos haces motivo de reproche ante nuestros vecinos, burlados y mofados por aquellos alrededor nuestro.
Pusístenos por vergüenza á nuestros vecinos, por escarnio y por burla á los que nos rodean.
Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.
Tú nos haces un insulto entre las naciones, algo por lo cual los pueblos mueven sus cabezas.
Pusístenos por proverbio entre las gentes, por movimiento de cabeza en los pueblos.
Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
Todo el día entero mi deshonra está delante de mí, y la vergüenza de mi rostro me ha cubierto
Cada día mi vergüenza está delante de mí, y cúbreme la confusión de mi rostro,
My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,

All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.

Nuestro corazón no se ha retractado; nuestros pasos no se han ido de Tu camino.
No se ha vuelto atrás nuestro corazón, ni tampoco se han apartado nuestros pasos de tus caminos.

Mas Tú nos has quebrantado severamente en el lugar de chacales y nos has cubierto con la sombra de la muerte.

Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

Si nos hemos olvidado del nombre de nuestro Dios o levantado nuestras manos a un dios extraño,

If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god,
¿no lo sabría Dios? Pues Él conoce los secretos del corazón.

Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Porque nos hemos derretido en el polvo; nuestros cuerpos están aferrados a la tierra.
Porque nuestra alma está agobiada hasta el polvo: nuestro vientre está pegado con la tierra.
For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.

Levántate para ayudarnos y redímenos por causa de Tu fidelidad al pacto.
