Salmos 41
Brenton's English Septuagint
1For the end, a Psalm of David. - Blessed is the man who thinks, on the poor and needy: the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.
2May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.
3May the Lord help him upon the bed of his pain; thou hast made all his bed in his sickness.
4I said, O Lord, have mercy upon me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5Mine enemies have spoken evil against me, saying, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6And if he came to see me, his heart spoke vainly; he gathered iniquity to himself; he went forth and spoke in like manner.
7All my enemies whispered against me; against me they devised my hurt.
8They denounced a wicked word against me, saying, Now that he lies, shall he not rise up again?
9For even the man of my peace, in whom I trusted, Joh 13:18 who ate my bread, lifted up his heel against me.
10But thou, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.
11By this I know that thou hast delighted in me, because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.
12But thou didst help me because of mine innocence, and hast established me before thee for ever.
13Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, so be it.

King James Version
1Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
2The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
4I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
6And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
7All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
8An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
9Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
13Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
World English Bible
1Blessed is he who considers the poor. The LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
2The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.
3The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
4I said, “LORD, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”
5My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”
6If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.
7All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.
8“An evil disease”, they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”
9Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.
10But you, LORD, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.
11By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.
12As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
13Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and amen.
