Salmos 37
Nova Bíblia Viva
1Não se preocupe com os perversos! Não fique com inveja dos homens maus.
2Eles logo secarão como o capim; murcharão como a erva verde.
3Confie no Senhor e procure fazer o bem; assim você viverá tranquilamente em seu lugar e desfrutará de toda a segurança.
4Faça do Senhor a sua grande alegria, e ele dará a você os desejos do seu coração.
5Deixe nas mãos do Senhor tudo o que você for fazer. Confie nele de todo o coração, e ele fará o que for necessário.
6Ele fará a sua justiça brilhar como a luz. Mostrará como o sol do meio-dia que você está com a razão.
7Descanse no Senhor, espere pacientemente pela sua ação. Não se incomode com o sucesso dos outros, nem com aqueles que planejam o mal.
8Deixe de lado a raiva e não fique furioso! Não perca a cabeça; isso só traz prejuízo!
9Esses homens maus serão destruídos, mas quem confia no Senhor herdará a terra.
10Dentro em breve os maus vão desaparecer. Mesmo procurando, você não vai encontrá-los.
11Mas quem se humilha perante o Senhor receberá a terra por herança e viverá em perfeita paz.
12Os homens maus fazem planos para destruir o justo, e contra ele rangem os dentes;
13o Senhor, porém, zomba deles porque sabe que o dia do castigo está se aproximando.
14Os maus preparam suas espadas, preparam seus arcos para destruir o humilde e o pobre, para matar os que andam pelo caminho do Senhor.
15No entanto, as suas espadas atravessarão os seus próprios corações, e os seus arcos serão quebrados.
16É melhor ter pouco e obedecer ao Senhor do que possuir as grandes riquezas dos homens maus,
17porque a força dos maus será quebrada, mas o Senhor sustentará os justos com a sua força.
18O Senhor observa passo a passo a vida dos íntegros de coração e prepara para eles uma recompensa eterna.
19Na época das dificuldades, eles não ficarão sem ajuda; quando houver fome, eles terão comida à vontade.
20Mas os maus desaparecerão. Os inimigos do Senhor murcharão como a erva; serão destruídos e desaparecerão como a fumaça.
21Os maus pedem emprestado e depois dizem: “Não tenho como pagar!” Os justos têm o bastante para si e ainda podem dar com generosidade.
22As pessoas que recebem a bênção do Senhor herdarão a terra, mas os que são amaldiçoados por ele serão eliminados.
23O Senhor firma o passo do homem que o agrada. Tem prazer na vida de quem é justo.
24O homem bom pode tropeçar, mas não ficará caído, pois o Senhor segura a sua mão e o ajuda a levantar-se.
25Já fui moço; agora sou um velho, mas nunca vi o justo ser abandonado pelo Senhor, nem seus filhos mendigar o pão.
26Pelo contrário; ele é sempre bondoso, empresta de boa vontade, e seus filhos serão abençoados.
27Assim, se você deseja um lar permanente e feliz, deixe a maldade e comece a praticar o bem.
28Pois o Senhor tem prazer na justiça e não abandona os que pertencem a ele; eles serão protegidos para sempre, mas a descendência dos que amam a injustiça será destruída.
29As pessoas que amam a Deus herdarão a terra e nela viverão para sempre.
30O justo sempre fala com sabedoria e sempre dá bons conselhos,
31porque obedece de coração à lei do seu Deus; por isso, seus passos são firmes e seguros.
32O homem mau vive espiando o justo, fazendo planos para tirar-lhe a vida,
33mas o Senhor não permitirá que o justo caia em suas mãos; se um homem bom for julgado, Deus não deixará que ele seja condenado.
34Espere com paciência no Senhor e siga o seu caminho, e ele o exaltará e lhe dará a terra por herança. Você verá os maus serem destruídos.
35Eu mesmo vi um homem orgulhoso e mau crescendo em força e poder como um cedro do Líbano,
36mas, pouco tempo depois, procurei por ele e descobri que tinha desaparecido.
37Preste atenção no homem íntegro e no justo e verá que a coisa é bem diferente! Quem obedece ao Senhor e vive em paz terá um fim abençoado.
38Mas os que desobedecem às leis de Deus serão destruídos; a descendência dos ímpios será eliminada para sempre.
39O Senhor salva os justos; no dia da dificuldade ele é a sua proteção!
40O Senhor ajuda e livra os justos dos planos perversos dos homens maus, porque confiam nele.

1Salmo de David. NO te impacientes á causa de los malignos, ni tengas envidia de los que hacen iniquidad.
2Porque como hierba serán presto cortados, y decaerán como verdor de renuevo.
3Espera en Jehová, y haz bien; vivirás en la tierra, y en verdad serás alimentado.
4Pon asimismo tu delicia en Jehová, y él te dará las peticiones de tu corazón.
5Encomienda á Jehová tu camino, y espera en él; y él hará.
6Y exhibirá tu justicia como la luz, y tus derechos como el medio día.
7Calla á Jehová, y espera en él: no te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino, por el hombre que hace maldades.
8Déjate de la ira, y depón el enojo: no te excites en manera alguna á hacer lo malo.
9Porque los malignos serán talados, mas los que esperan en Jehová, ellos heredarán la tierra.
10Pues de aquí á poco no será el malo: y contemplarás sobre su lugar, y no parecerá.
11Pero los mansos heredarán la tierra, y se recrearán con abundancia de paz.
12Maquina el impío contra el justo, y cruje sobre él sus dientes.
13El Señor se reirá de él; porque ve que viene su día.
14Los impíos desenvainaron espada, y entesaron su arco, para derribar al pobre y al menesteroso, para matar á los de recto proceder.
15La espada de ellos entrará en su mismo corazón, y su arco será quebrado.
16Mejor es lo poco del justo, que las riquezas de muchos pecadores.
17Porque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados: mas el que sostiene á los justos es Jehová.
18Conoce Jehová los días de los perfectos: y la heredad de ellos será para siempre.
19No serán avergonzados en el mal tiempo; y en los días de hambre serán hartos.
20Mas los impíos perecerán, y los enemigos de Jehová como la grasa de los carneros serán consumidos: se disiparán como humo.
21El impío toma prestado, y no paga; mas el justo tiene misericordia, y da.
22Porque los benditos de él heredarán la tierra; y los malditos de él serán talados.
23Por Jehová son ordenados los pasos del hombre, y aprueba su camino.
24Cuando cayere, no quedará postrado; porque Jehová sostiene su mano.
25Mozo fuí, y he envejecido, y no he visto justo desamparado, ni su simiente que mendigue pan.
26En todo tiempo tiene misericordia, y presta; y su simiente es para bendición.
27Apártate del mal, y haz el bien, y vivirás para siempre.
28Porque Jehová ama la rectitud, y no desampara sus santos: para siempre serán guardados; mas la simiente de los impíos será extirpada.
29Los justos heredarán la tierra, y vivirán para siempre sobre ella.
30La boca del justo hablará sabiduría; y su lengua proferirá juicio.
31La ley de su Dios está en su corazón; por tanto sus pasos no vacilarán.
32Acecha el impío al justo, y procura matarlo.
33Jehová no lo dejará en sus manos, ni lo condenará cuando le juzgaren.
34Espera en Jehová, y guarda su camino, y él te ensalzará para heredar la tierra: cuando serán talados los pecadores, lo verás.
35Vi yo al impío sumamente ensalzado, y que se extendía como un laurel verde.
36Empero pasóse, y he aquí no parece; y busquélo, y no fué hallado.
37Considera al íntegro, y mira al justo: que la postrimería de cada uno de ellos es paz.
38Mas los transgresores fueron todos á una destruídos: la postrimería de los impíos fué talada.
39Pero la salvación de los justos es de Jehová, y él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de angustia.
40Y Jehová los ayudará, y los librará: y libertarálos de los impíos, y los salvará, por cuanto en él esperaron.

1Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
11But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
13The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
16A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
18The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
22For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
23The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
28For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
30The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
33The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
34Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
36Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
38But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
39But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
40And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

1Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.
4Also delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
6he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.
9For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
10For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn’t there.
11But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.
13The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright on the path.

23A man’s steps are established by the LORD. He delights in his way.
24Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.
