Yo fui joven y ahora soy viejo; yo nunca he visto a una persona justa abandonada o sus hijos mendigando pan.

Mozo fuí, y he envejecido, y no he visto justo desamparado, ni su simiente que mendigue pan.

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
