2Den HERRN will ich preisen allezeit, beständig soll sein Lob in meinem Mund sein.
3In dem HERRN soll sich rühmen meine Seele; hören werden es die Sanftmütigen und sich freuen.
4Erhebt den HERRN mit mir, und lasst uns miteinander erhöhen seinen Namen!
5Ich suchte den HERRN, und er antwortete mir; und aus allen meinen Beängstigungen errettete er mich.
6Sie blickten auf ihn und wurden erfreut, und ihre Angesichter wurden nicht beschämt.
7Dieser Elende rief, und der HERR hörte, und aus allen seinen Bedrängnissen rettete er ihn.
8Der Engel des HERRN lagert sich um die her, die ihn fürchten, und er befreit sie.
9Schmeckt und seht, dass der HERR gütig ist! Glückselig der Mann, der auf ihn traut!
10Fürchtet den HERRN, ihr seine Heiligen! Denn keinen Mangel haben, die ihn fürchten.
11Junge Löwen darben und hungern, aber die den HERRN suchen, ermangeln keines Guten.
12Kommt, ihr Söhne, hört mir zu: Die Furcht des HERRN will ich euch lehren.
13Wer ist der Mann, der Lust zum Leben hat, der Tage liebt, um Gutes zu sehen?
14Bewahre deine Zunge vor Bösem, und deine Lippen, dass sie nicht Trug reden;
15Weiche vom Bösen und tue Gutes, suche Frieden und jage ihm nach!
16Die Augen des HERRN sind gerichtet auf die Gerechten, und seine Ohren auf ihr Schreien.
17Das Angesicht des HERRN ist gegen die, die Böses tun, um ihr Gedächtnis von der Erde auszurotten.
18Sie schreien, und der HERR hört, und aus allen ihren Bedrängnissen errettet er sie.
19Nahe ist der HERR denen, die zerbrochenen Herzens sind, und die zerschlagenen Geistes sind, rettet er.
20Viele sind der Widerwärtigkeiten des Gerechten, aber aus allen denselben errettet ihn der HERR.
21Er bewahrt alle seine Gebeine, nicht eines von ihnen wird zerbrochen.
22Den Gottlosen wird das Böse töten; und die den Gerechten hassen, werden büßen.
23Der HERR erlöst die Seele seiner Knechte; und alle, die bei ihm Zuflucht suchen, werden nicht büßen.

1Salmo de David, cuando mudó su semblante delante de Abimelech, y él lo echó, y fuése. BENDECIRÉ á Jehová en todo tiempo; su alabanza será siempre en mi boca.
2En Jehová se gloriará mi alma: oiránlo los mansos, y se alegrarán.
3Engrandeced á Jehová conmigo, y ensalcemos su nombre á una.
4Busqué á Jehová, y él me oyó, y libróme de todos mis temores.
5A él miraron y fueron alumbrados: y sus rostros no se avergonzaron.
6Este pobre clamó, y oyóle Jehová, y librólo de todas sus angustias.
7El ángel de Jehová acampa en derredor de los que le temen, y los defiende.
8Gustad, y ved que es bueno Jehová: dichoso el hombre que confiará en él.
9Temed á Jehová, vosotros sus santos; porque no hay falta para los que le temen.
10Los leoncillos necesitaron, y tuvieron hambre; pero los que buscan á Jehová, no tendrán falta de ningún bien.
11Venid, hijos, oidme; el temor de Jehová os enseñaré.
12¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida, que codicia días para ver bien?
13Guarda tu lengua de mal, y tus labios de hablar engaño.
14Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; busca la paz, y síguela.
15Los ojos de Jehová están sobre los justos, y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.
16La ira de Jehová contra los que mal hacen, para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.
17Clamaron los justos, y Jehová oyó, y librólos de todas sus angustias.
18Cercano está Jehová á los quebrantados de corazón; y salvará á los contritos de espíritu.
19Muchos son los males del justo; mas de todos ellos lo librará Jehová.
20El guarda todos sus huesos; ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.
21Matará al malo la maldad; y los que aborrecen al justo serán asolados.
22Jehová redime el alma de sus siervos; y no serán asolados cuantos en él confían.

1I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
11Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
20He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
