1Cantad, oh justos, a Yahvé, la alabanza es propia de los rectos.
2Celebrad al Señor con la cítara; con el arpa de diez cuerdas cantadle himnos.
3Entonadle un cántico nuevo; tañed bien sonoramente.
4Porque la Palabra de Yahvé es recta, y toda su conducta es fiel.
5Él ama la misericordia y la justicia, la tierra está llena de la bondad de Yahvé.
6Por la Palabra de Yahvé fueron hechos los cielos, y todo su ornato por el soplo de su boca.
7Él junta como en un odre las aguas del mar, encierra en depósitos los abismos.
8Tema a Yahvé toda la tierra; reveréncienle todos los pobladores del orbe.
9Porque Él habló y quedaron hechos; mandó, y tuvieron ser.
10Yahvé desbarata los planes de las naciones, deshace los designios de los pueblos.
11Mas los planes del Señor permanecen eternamente; los designios de su corazón, de generación en generación.
12¡Dichoso el pueblo que tiene por Dios a Yahvé, dichoso el pueblo que Él escogió para herencia suya!
13Yahvé mira desde lo alto de los cielos, ve a todos los hijos de los hombres.
14Desde el lugar de su morada fija sus ojos, sobre todos los que habitan la tierra.
15Él, que formó el corazón de cada uno, presta atención a todas sus acciones.
16No vence el rey por un gran ejército; el guerrero no se salva por su mucha fuerza.
17Engañoso es el caballo para la victoria, todo su vigor no salvará al jinete.
18Mas los ojos de Yahvé velan por los que le temen, por los que esperan de su misericordia,
19que ha de librar sus almas de la muerte, y alimentarlos en el tiempo de hambre.
20Nuestra alma cuenta con Yahvé; Él es nuestra ayuda y nuestro escudo.
21En Él se regocija nuestro corazón, y en su santo Nombre confiamos.
22Sea, Yahvé, sobre nosotros tu misericordia, según lo esperamos de Ti.

1Salmo de David: Masquil. BIENAVENTURADO aquel cuyas iniquidades son perdonadas, y borrados sus pecados.
2Bienaventurado el hombre á quien no imputa Jehová la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay superchería.
3Mientras callé, envejeciéronse mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.
4Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; volvióse mi verdor en sequedades de estío. (Selah.)
5Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones á Jehová; y tú perdonaste la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.)
6Por esto orará á ti todo santo en el tiempo de poder hallarte: ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas no llegarán éstas á él.
7Tú eres mi refugio; me guardarás de angustia; con cánticos de liberación me rodearás. (Selah.)
8Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que debes andar: sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.
9No seáis como el caballo, ó como el mulo, sin entendimiento: con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser reprimida, para que no lleguen á ti.
10Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en Jehová, lo cercará misericordia.
11Alegraos en Jehová, y gozaos, justos: y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.

1Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

2Blessed is the man to whom the LORD doesn’t impute iniquity, in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
4For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.
5I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6For this, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.
7You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
9Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
10Many sorrows come to the wicked, but loving kindness shall surround him who trusts in the LORD.
11Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!
