Salmos 30

Lexham English Bible

1I will exalt you, O Yahweh, because you have drawn me up, and have not made my enemies rejoice over me.

2O Yahweh, my God, I cried for help to you, and you healed me.

3O Yahweh, you have brought my life up from Sheol. You preserved me alive from among those going down to the pit.

4Sing praises to Yahweh, you his faithful ones, and give thanks ⌞to his holy fame⌟.

5For there is a moment in his anger; there is a lifetime in his favor. Weeping lodges for the evening, but in the morning comes rejoicing.

6But as for me, I had said in my prosperity, “I shall not be moved ever.”

7O Yahweh, by your favor you caused my strong mountain to stand. You hid your face. I was bewildered.

8To you, O Yahweh, I called, and to the Lord I pleaded for grace saying,

9“What gain is there in my ⌞death⌟, in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness?

10“O Yahweh, hear and be gracious to me. O Yahweh, be my helper.”

11You have turned my wailing into my dancing. You have removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy

12so that ⌞I⌟ may sing praises to you and not be quiet. O Yahweh, my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

1Salmo cantado en la dedicación de la Casa: Salmo de David. GLORIFICARTE he, oh Jehová; porque me has ensalzado, y no hiciste á mis enemigos alegrarse de mí.

2Jehová Dios mío, á ti clamé, y me sanaste.

6Y dije yo en mi prosperidad: no seré jamás conmovido;

12Por tanto á ti cantaré, gloria mía, y no estaré callado. Jehová Dios mío, te alabaré para siempre.

King James Version

1I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

6And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

8I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
