¿POR qué se amotinan las gentes, y los pueblos piensan vanidad?
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Der Erde Könige verbünden sich,und Fürsten pflegen Rat,dem Herrn und dem, den er gesalbt, zum Trotz:
Estarán los reyes de la tierra, y príncipes consultarán unidos contra Jehová, y contra su ungido, diciendo:
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

"Auf! Laßt uns ihre Fesseln sprengen,ihr Joch abschütteln!"
Rompamos sus coyundas, y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
“Let’s break their bonds apart, and cast their cords from us.”
Der in dem Himmel thront, lacht ihrer;der Herr verspottet sie.
El que mora en los cielos se reirá; el Señor se burlará de ellos.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision.
Doch schließlich redet er in seinem Zorn mit ihnen;mit seinem Grimme schreckt er sie.
Entonces hablará á ellos en su furor, y turbarálos con su ira.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Then he will speak to them in his anger, and terrify them in his wrath:
"Ich selber habe meinen König eingesetztzu Sion über meinen heiligen Berg." -

Des Herrn Entschließung will ich künden;er sprach zu mir: "Du bist mein Sohn;ich habe heute dich gezeugt.
Yo publicaré el decreto: Jehová me ha dicho: Mi hijo eres tú; yo te engendré hoy.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Pídeme, y te daré por heredad las gentes, y por posesión tuya los términos de la tierra.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Nun, Könige! Bedenkt es wohl!Erdenrichter, laßt euch warnen!
Y ahora, reyes, entended: admitid corrección, jueces de la tierra.

In Ehrfurcht dient dem Herrn,und werft euch zitternd nieder!
Servid á Jehová con temor, y alegraos con temblor.

Und huldigt ohne Falsch, daß er nicht zürneund ihr auf irrem Weg verderbet!Ein kleines nur, und schon entbrannt sein Zorn.Heil allen, die bei ihm sich bergen!
Besad al Hijo, porque no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino, cuando se encendiere un poco su furor. Bienaventurados todos los que en él confían.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.
