De David. Yahvé es mi luz y mi socorro; ¿a quién temeré? La defensa de mi vida es Yahvé; ¿ante quién podré temblar?
Salmo de David. JÚZGAME, oh Jehová, porque yo en mi integridad he andado: confiado he asimismo en Jehová, no vacilaré.
Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
Judge me, LORD, for I have walked in my integrity. I have trusted also in the LORD without wavering.
Cada vez que me asaltan los malignos para devorar mi carne, son ellos, mis adversarios y enemigos, quienes vacilan y caen.
Pruébame, oh Jehová, y sondéame: examina mis riñones y mi corazón.
Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
Examine me, LORD, and prove me. Try my heart and my mind.
Si un ejército acampase contra mí, mi corazón no temería; y aunque estalle contra mí la guerra, tendré confianza.
Porque tu misericordia está delante de mis ojos, y en tu verdad ando.
For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth.
Una sola cosa he pedido a Yahvé, y esto sí lo reclamo: habitar en la casa de Yahvé todos los días de mi vida; contemplar la suavidad de Yahvé y meditar en su santuario.
No me he sentado con hombres de falsedad; ni entré con los que andan encubiertamente.
I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites.
Porque en el día malo Él me esconderá en su tienda; me tendrá seguro en el secreto de su tabernáculo, y me pondrá sobre una alta roca.
Aborrecí la reunión de los malignos, y con los impíos nunca me senté.
I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
I hate the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.
Entonces mi cabeza se alzará por encima de mis enemigos en torno mío, e inmolaré en su tabernáculo sacrificios de júbilo; cantaré y entonaré salmos a Yahvé.
Lavaré en inocencia mis manos, y andaré alrededor de tu altar, oh Jehová:
I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, LORD,
Escucha, oh Yahvé, mi voz que te llama; ten misericordia de mí y atiéndeme.
Para exclamar con voz de acción de gracias, y para contar todas tus maravillas.
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard and tell of all your wondrous deeds.
Mi corazón sabe que Tú has dicho: “Buscadme.” Y yo busco tu rostro, oh Yahvé.
Jehová, la habitación de tu casa he amado, y el lugar del tabernáculo de tu gloria.
LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
LORD, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.
No quieras esconderme tu faz, no rechaces con desdén a tu siervo. Mi socorro eres Tú; no me eches fuera, ni me desampares, oh Dios, Salvador mío.
No juntes con los pecadores mi alma, ni con los hombres de sangres mi vida:
Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:

Si mi padre y mi madre me abandonan, Yahvé me recogerá.
En cuyas manos está el mal, y su diestra está llena de sobornos.
In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

Muéstrame, oh Yahvé, tu camino, y condúceme por la senda llana a causa de los que me están asechando.
Yo empero andaré en mi integridad: redímeme, y ten misericordia de mí.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

No me dejes entregado a la voluntad de mis enemigos, porque se han levantado contra mí falsos testigos que respiran crueldad.
Mi pie ha estado en rectitud: en las congregaciones bendeciré á Jehová.
My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

¡Ah, si no creyera yo que veré los bienes de Yahvé en la tierra de los vivientes!
