1De David, avant son onction. Le Seigneur est ma lumière et mon salut : qui craindrai-je ? Le Seigneur protège ma vie : de qui aurai-je peur ?
2Quand des hommes malfaisants se sont approchés de moi pour manger mes chairs, mes persécuteurs et mes ennemis eux-mêmes ont perdu leur force, et sont tombés.
3Lors même qu'une armée serait campée devant moi, mon cœur ne serait pas effrayé. Lors même que la guerre s'élèverait contre moi, mon espérance serait encore dans le Seigneur.
4J'ai demandé une chose au Seigneur, et je la demanderai toujours : c'est que j'habite en la maison du Seigneur tous les jours de ma vie, pour contempler la beauté du Seigneur et visiter son temple.
5Car, aux jours de mon adversité, il m'a caché dans son tabernacle, il m'a abrité en son sanctuaire.
6Il m'a établi sur le roc, et maintenant voici qu'il élève ma tête au- dessus de mes ennemis. Je me suis tenu autour de son tabernacle, et j'y ai fait une oblation d'allégresse ; je chanterai un psaume au Seigneur, je le célébrerai.
7Seigneur, sois attentif à ma voix et à mes cris ; aie pitié de moi et exauce-moi.
8Mon cœur t'a parlé, j'ai cherché ton visage. Seigneur, et je le chercherai toujours.
9Ne détourne point de moi ta face ; en ta colère ne t'éloigne pas de ton serviteur ; sois mon aide, ne m'abandonne pas, ô Dieu mon Sauveur, ne me méprise pas.
10Car mon père et ma mère m'ont délaissé ; mais le Seigneur lui-même m'a recueilli.
11Donne-moi la loi qui montre ta voie ; guide-moi dans le droit chemin à cause de mes ennemis.
12Ne me livre pas au mauvais vouloir de ceux qui m'affligent ; car de faux témoins se sont levés contre moi, et l'iniquité a menti à elle-même.
13Je crois que je verrai les biens du Seigneur sur la terre des vivants.
14Attends le Seigneur, sois homme ; que ton cœur se fortifie, et attends le Seigneur.

1Salmo de David. JÚZGAME, oh Jehová, porque yo en mi integridad he andado: confiado he asimismo en Jehová, no vacilaré.
2Pruébame, oh Jehová, y sondéame: examina mis riñones y mi corazón.
3Porque tu misericordia está delante de mis ojos, y en tu verdad ando.
4No me he sentado con hombres de falsedad; ni entré con los que andan encubiertamente.
5Aborrecí la reunión de los malignos, y con los impíos nunca me senté.
6Lavaré en inocencia mis manos, y andaré alrededor de tu altar, oh Jehová:
7Para exclamar con voz de acción de gracias, y para contar todas tus maravillas.
8Jehová, la habitación de tu casa he amado, y el lugar del tabernáculo de tu gloria.
9No juntes con los pecadores mi alma, ni con los hombres de sangres mi vida:
10En cuyas manos está el mal, y su diestra está llena de sobornos.
11Yo empero andaré en mi integridad: redímeme, y ten misericordia de mí.
12Mi pie ha estado en rectitud: en las congregaciones bendeciré á Jehová.

1Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
2Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
7That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

3For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth.
4I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites.
5I hate the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.
6I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, LORD,
7that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard and tell of all your wondrous deeds.
8LORD, I love the habitation of your house, the place where your glory dwells.
