1Dem Vorsänger. Ein Psalm Davids. (020-2) Der HERR antworte dir am Tage der Not, der Name des Gottes Jakobs schütze dich!
2(020-3) Er sende dir Hilfe vom Heiligtum und stärke dich aus Zion;
3(020-4) er gedenke aller deiner Speisopfer, und dein Brandopfer achte er für fett. (Pause.)
4(020-5) Er gebe dir, was dein Herz begehrt, und erfülle alle deine Ratschläge!
5(020-6) Wir wollen jauchzen ob deinem Heil und im Namen unsres Gottes die Fahne entfalten! Der HERR erfülle alle deine Bitten!
6(020-7) Nun habe ich erfahren, daß der HERR seinem Gesalbten hilft, daß er ihm antwortet von seinem himmlischen Heiligtum mit den hilfreichen Taten seiner Rechten.
7(020-8) Jene rühmen sich der Wagen und diese der Rosse; wir aber des Namens des HERRN, unsres Gottes.
8(020-9) Sie sind niedergesunken und gefallen; wir aber erhoben uns und blieben stehen.
9(020-10) O HERR, hilf dem König! Antworte uns am Tage, da wir rufen!

2Envíete ayuda desde el santuario, y desde Sión te sostenga.
3Haga memoria de todos tus presentes, y reduzca á ceniza tu holocausto. (Selah.)
4Déte conforme á tu corazón, y cumpla todo tu consejo.
5Nosotros nos alegraremos por tu salud, y alzaremos pendón en el nombre de nuestro Dios: cumpla Jehová todas tus peticiones.
6Ahora echo de ver que Jehová guarda á su ungido: oirálo desde los cielos de su santidad, con la fuerza de la salvación de su diestra.
7Estos confían en carros, y aquéllos en caballos: mas nosotros del nombre de Jehová nuestro Dios tendremos memoria.
8Ellos arrodillaron, y cayeron; mas nosotros nos levantamos, y nos enhestamos.
9Salva, Jehová: que el Rey nos oiga el día que lo invocáremos.

1The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
World English Bible
1May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high,
2send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,
3remember all your offerings, and accept your burned sacrifice. Selah.
4May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.
5We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May the LORD grant all your requests.
6Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.
7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.
