1Eine Denkschrift von David. Bewahre mich, o Gott; denn ich traue auf dich!
2Ich spreche zum HERRN: Du bist mein Herr; kein Gut geht mir über dich!
3Die Heiligen, die im Lande sind, sie sind die Edlen, an denen ich all mein Wohlgefallen habe.
4Jene aber mehren ihre Götzenbilder und eilen einem andern nach; an ihren blutigen Spenden will ich mich nicht beteiligen, noch ihre Namen auf meine Lippen nehmen.
5Der HERR ist mein Erb und Becherteil; du sicherst mir mein Los!
6Die Meßschnur ist mir in einer lieblichen Gegend gefallen, ja, es ward mir ein glänzendes Erbe zuteil.
7Ich lobe den HERRN, der mir geraten hat; auch des Nachts mahnen mich meine Nieren.
8Ich habe den HERRN allezeit vor Augen; weil er mir zur Rechten ist, wanke ich nicht.
9Darum freut sich mein Herz, und meine Seele frohlockt; auch mein Fleisch wird sicher ruhen;
10denn du wirst meine Seele nicht dem Totenreich überlassen und wirst nicht zugeben, daß dein Heiliger die Verwesung sehe.
11Du wirst mir den Weg des Lebens zeigen; Fülle von Freuden ist vor deinem Angesicht, liebliches Wesen zu deiner Rechten ewiglich!

1Michtham de David. GUÁRDAME, oh Dios, porque en ti he confiado.
2Dijiste, oh alma mía, á Jehová: Tú eres el Señor: mi bien á ti no aprovecha;
3Sino á los santos que están en la tierra, y á los íntegros: toda mi afición en ellos.
4Multiplicaránse los dolores de aquellos que sirven diligentes á otro dios: no ofreceré yo sus libaciones de sangre, ni en mis labios tomaré sus nombres.
5Jehová es la porción de mi parte y de mi copa; tú sustentarás mi suerte.
6Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos, y es hermosa la heredad que me ha tocado.
7Bendeciré á Jehová que me aconseja: aun en las noches me enseñan mis riñones.
8A Jehová he puesto siempre delante de mí: porque está á mi diestra no seré conmovido.
9Alegróse por tanto mi corazón, y se gozó mi gloria: también mi carne reposará segura.
10Porque no dejarás mi alma en el sepulcro; ni permitirás que tu santo vea corrupción.
11Me mostrarás la senda de la vida: hartura de alegrías hay con tu rostro; deleites en tu diestra para siempre.

1Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

1Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
2My soul, you have said to the LORD, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”
3As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.
4Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.
5The LORD assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure.
6The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance.
7I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
8I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.
10For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.
11You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.
