Salmos 14

Green's Literal Translation

1To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they did hatefully in deeds; there is none doing good.

2Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there were any discerning and seeking God:

3they have all turned aside; together they have become filthy; there is none doing good; not even one!

4Have all evildoers not known, eating My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah.

5There they were afraid of terror, for God is in the righteous generation.

6You have shamed the counsel of the afflicted, for Jehovah is his refuge.

7Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion? When Jehovah brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice; Israel shall be glad.

Reina-Valera 1909

King James Version

1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

5There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

7Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

World English Bible

1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.

2The LORD looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.

3They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on the LORD?

5There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6You frustrate the plan of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
