1To the chief musician, by David. The worthless fool saith in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they are abominable in their doings, there is none that doth good.
2The Lord looketh down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there be one intelligent, one who seeketh for God.
3They are all gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt: there is none that doth good, no, not even one.
4Is there no knowledge in all the workers of wickedness? who eat up my people as they eat bread; while they do not call on the Lord.
5There are they terrified in terror; for God is with the righteous generation:
6The counsel of the poor though you put to shame; because the Lord is his protection.
7Oh that some one might bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion! When the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, then will Jacob be glad, and Israel will rejoice.

2Jehová miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres, por ver si había algún entendido, que buscara á Dios.
3Todos declinaron, juntamente se han corrompido: no hay quien haga bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.
4¿No tendrán conocimiento todos los que obran iniquidad, que devoran á mi pueblo como si pan comiesen, y á Jehová no invocaron?

2The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
5There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

1The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.
2The LORD looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on the LORD?
5There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6You frustrate the plan of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
