Salmos 147
Biblia Torres Amat
1Alabad al Señor; porque justa cosa es cantarle himnos. Cántese a nuestro Dios un grato y digno cántico.
2Edificando el Señor a Jerusalén , congregará a los hijos de Israel, que andan dispersos por el mundo.
3El es quien sana a los de corazón contrito, y venda sus heridas;
4el que cuenta las estrellas y las llama a todas ellas por sus nombres.
5Grande es el Señor Dios nuestro, y grande su poderío, y sin límites su sabiduría.
6El Señor es quien ampara a los humildes, y abate hasta el suelo a los soberbios pecadores.
7Entonad himnos al Señor con acciones de gracias; cantad salmos a nuestro Dios al son de la cítara.
8El es el que cubre el cielo de nubes, y dispone así la lluvia para la tierra; el que produce en los montes el heno, y la hierba para los animales del servicio de los hombres.
9El que da a las bestias el alimento que les es propio, y a los polluelos de los cuervos que claman a él.
10No hace el Señor caso del brío del caballo; ni se complace en que el hombre tenga robustos y veloces pies.
11Se complace, sí, en aquellos que le temen y adoran, y en los que confían en su misericordia.
12Alaba al Señor, ¡oh Jerusalén !; alaba, ¡oh Sión!, a tu Dios.
13Porque él ha asegurado con fuertes barras o cerrojos tus puertas; ha llenado de bendición a tus hijos, que moran dentro de ti.
14Ha establecido la paz en tu territorio, y te alimenta de la flor de harina.
15El despacha sus órdenes a la tierra; órdenes que se comunican velozmente.
16El nos da la nieve como copos de lana; esparce la escarcha como ceniza.
17El despide el granizo en menudos pedazos; al rigor de su frío, ¿quién resistirá?
18Pero luego despacha sus órdenes, derrite estas cosas; hace soplar su viento, y fluyen las aguas.
19El anuncia su palabra a Jacob , sus preceptos y ocultos juicios a Israel.
20No ha hecho otro tanto con las demás naciones, ni les ha manifestado a todas ellas sus juicios o preceptos. ¡Aleluya!

1ALABAD á JAH, porque es bueno cantar salmos á nuestro Dios; porque suave y hermosa es la alabanza.
2Jehová edifica á Jerusalem; á los echados de Israel recogerá.
3El sana á los quebrantados de corazón, y liga sus heridas.
4El cuenta el número de las estrellas; á todas ellas llama por sus nombres.
5Grande es el Señor nuestro, y de mucha potencia; y de su entendimiento no hay número.
6Jehová ensalza á los humildes; humilla los impíos hasta la tierra.
7Cantad á Jehová con alabanza, cantad con arpa á nuestro Dios.
8El es el que cubre los cielos de nubes, el que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, el que hace á los montes producir hierba.
9El da á la bestia su mantenimiento, y á los hijos de los cuervos que claman.
10No toma contentamiento en la fortaleza del caballo, ni se complace en las piernas del hombre.
11Complácese Jehová en los que le temen, y en los que esperan en su misericordia.
12Alaba á Jehová, Jerusalem; alaba á tu Dios, Sión.
13Porque fortificó los cerrojos de tus puertas; bendijo á tus hijos dentro de ti.
14El pone en tu término la paz; te hará saciar de grosura de trigo.
15El envía su palabra á la tierra; muy presto corre su palabra.
16El da la nieve como lana, derrama la escarcha como ceniza.
17El echa su hielo como pedazos: delante de su frío ¿quién estará?
18Enviará su palabra, y los derretirá: soplará su viento, y fluirán las aguas.
19El denuncia sus palabras á Jacob, sus estatutos y sus juicios á Israel.
20No ha hecho esto con toda gente; y no conocieron sus juicios. Aleluya.

1Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
2The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
6The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
8Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
9He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
10He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
11The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
12Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
14He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
16He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
17He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
18He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

1Praise the LORD, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.
2The LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

5Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
6The LORD upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.

12Praise the LORD, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!
13For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.

20He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his ordinances. Praise the LORD!
