Salmos 143

Signore, che è l'uomo, che a lui ti se' dato a conoscere, o il figliuolo dell'uomo, che tal tu ne mostri concetto?

Porque ha perseguido el enemigo mi alma; ha postrado en tierra mi vida; hame hecho habitar en tinieblas como los ya muertos.

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.
