1Cantique des montées. De David. Yahweh, mon cœur ne s'est pas enflé d'orgueil, et mes regards n'ont pas été hautains. Je ne recherche point les grandes choses, ni ce qui est élevé au-dessus de moi.

2Non ! Je tiens mon âme dans le calme et le silence. Comme un enfant sevré sur le sein de sa mère, comme l'enfant sevré mon âme est en moi.

3Israël, mets ton espoir en Yahweh ! Maintenant et toujours !

1Cántico gradual: de David. JEHOVÁ, no se ha envanecido mi corazón, ni mis ojos se enaltecieron; ni anduve en grandezas, ni en cosas para mí demasiado sublimes.

2En verdad que me he comportado y he acallado mi alma, como un niño destetado de su madre: como un niño destetado está mi alma.

3Espera, oh Israel, en Jehová desde ahora y para siempre.

1LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

World English Bible

1LORD, my heart isn’t arrogant, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.

2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3Israel, hope in the LORD, from this time forward and forever more.
