"Muchas veces mis enemigos me han perseguido", desde mi juventud, dejen que Israel diga.
Cántico gradual. MUCHO me han angustiado desde mi juventud, puede decir ahora Israel;
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say:
"Muchas veces desde mi juventud ellos me han perseguido, pero no me han derrotado.
Mucho me han angustiado desde mi juventud; mas no prevalecieron contra mí.
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.
Sobre mi espalda araron los aradores, y alargaron sus surcos largos.
Sobre mis espaldas araron los aradores: hicieron largos surcos.
The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.
The plowers plowed on my back. They made their furrows long.
El SEÑOR es recto; Él ha cortado las sogas de los malvados."
Jehová es justo; cortó las coyundas de los impíos.
The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
The LORD is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked.
Que todos ellos sean puestos en vergüenza y regresados, aquelllos que odian a Sion.
Serán avergonzados y vueltos atrás todos los que aborrecen á Sión.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion.
Que ellos sean como la hierba en los techos, que se marchita antes de que crezca,
Serán como la hierba de los tejados, que se seca antes que crezca:
Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up,
Que no pueda llenar la mano del segador ni el recogedor de gavillas sus brazos.
De la cual no hinchió segador su mano, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
with which the reaper doesn’t fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.
Que aquellos que pasan no digan: "Que la bendición del SEÑOR esté sobre ti; nosotros te bendecimos en el nombre del SEÑOR."
Ni dijeron los que pasaban: Bendición de Jehová sea sobre vosotros; os bendecimos en el nombre de Jehová.
Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of the LORD be on you. We bless you in the LORD’s name.”
