Sie haben mich viel bedrängt von meiner Jugend an und mich doch nicht überwältigt.
Mucho me han angustiado desde mi juventud; mas no prevalecieron contra mí.
Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.
many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.
Auf meinem Rücken haben sie geackert, haben ihr Pflugland weit ausgedehnt.
Sobre mis espaldas araron los aradores: hicieron largos surcos.

Beschämt müssen werden und zurückweichen alle, die Zion hassen.
Serán avergonzados y vueltos atrás todos los que aborrecen á Sión.
Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion.
Sie müssen wie das Gras auf den Dächern werden, das verdorrt, bevor man es herauszieht,
Serán como la hierba de los tejados, que se seca antes que crezca:
Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

womit kein Schnitter seine Hand gefüllt, noch seinen Busen ein Garbenbinder.
De la cual no hinchió segador su mano, ni sus brazos el que hace gavillas.
Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of the LORD be on you. We bless you in the LORD’s name.”
