1I was glad because they said to me, We will go into the house of the Lord.
2At last our feet were inside your doors, O Jerusalem.
3O Jerusalem, you are like a town which is well joined together;
4To which the tribes went up, even the tribes of the Lord, for a witness to Israel, to give praise to the name of the Lord.
5For there seats for the judges were placed, even the rulers' seats of the line of David.
6O make prayers for the peace of Jerusalem; may they whose love is given to you do well.
7May peace be inside your walls, and wealth in your noble houses.
8Because of my brothers and friends, I will now say, Let peace be with you.
9Because of the house of the Lord our God, I will be working for your good.

2Nuestros pies estuvieron en tus puertas, oh Jerusalem;
3Jerusalem, que se ha edificado como una ciudad que está bien unida entre sí.
4Y allá subieron las tribus, las tribus de JAH, conforme al testimonio dado á Israel, para alabar el nombre de Jehová.
5Porque allá están las sillas del juicio, las sillas de la casa de David.
6Pedid la paz de Jerusalem: sean prosperados los que te aman.
7Haya paz en tu antemuro, y descanso en tus palacios.

2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

5For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.
6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
