3Como Ele vos punirá, e o que mais Ele vos fará, vós que tendes uma língua mentirosa?
4Ele atirará em vós com flechas afiadas de guerreiros, que foram forjadas sobre as brasas de zimbro.
5Ai de mim, porque fui peregrino em Meseque, e habitei nas tendas de Quedar.
6Por muito tempo vivi com os que odeiam a paz.
7Sou pela paz, mas, quando falo, eles são pela guerra.

3¿Qué te dará, ó qué te aprovechará, oh lengua engañosa?
4Agudas saetas de valiente, con brasas de enebro.
5¡Ay de mí, que peregrino en Mesech, y habito entre las tiendas de Kedar!
6Mucho se detiene mi alma con los que aborrecen la paz.
7Yo soy pacífico: mas ellos, así que hablo, me hacen guerra.

2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
