ICH liebe den Herrn, denn er erhört / mein flehentlich Rufen; /

AMO á Jehová, pues ha oído mi voz y mis súplicas.

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.

ja, er hat sein Ohr zu mir geneigt - / ich will ihn anrufen mein Leben lang. /

Porque ha inclinado á mí su oído, invocaréle por tanto en todos mis días.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

Die Stricke des Todes hatten mich umfangen, / die Ängste der Unterwelt mich befallen, / ich kam in Not und in Kummer; / (a) Ps 18:6

Rodeáronme los dolores de la muerte, me encontraron las angustias del sepulcro: angustia y dolor había yo hallado.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.

aber ich rief den Namen des Herrn an: / "Ach, Herr, errette mein Leben!" /

Entonces invoqué el nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Libra ahora, oh Jehová, mi alma.

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Wie soll ich dem Herrn vergelten / alles Gute, das er an mir getan? /

¿Qué pagaré á Jehová por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

Ich will den Becher des Heils erheben / und den Namen des Herrn anrufen. /

Tomaré la copa de la salud, é invocaré el nombre de Jehová.
