1Amé al Señor, seguro de que oirá la voz de mi oración.
2Porque se dignó inclinar hacia mí sus oídos, y así lo invocaré en todos los días de mi vida.
3Me cercaron mortales angustias, me embistieron los horrores del infierno, o sepulcro. Me hallé en medio de la tribulación y el dolor;
4e invoqué el Nombre del Señor. Libra, ¡oh Señor!, el alma mía.
5Misericordioso es el Señor y justo; compasivo es nuestro Señor.
6El Señor guarda a los pequeñuelos; yo me humillé, y él me sacó a paz y salvo.
7Vuelve, ¡oh alma mía!, a tu sosiego; ya que el Señor te ha favorecido tanto.
8Pues él ha librado de la muerte a mi alma, ha enjugado mis lágrimas, y apartado mis pies del precipicio.
9Grato seré yo al Señor en la región de los vivos.
10Creí a Dios; por eso hablé confiado; aunque me vi reducido al mayor abatimien-to.
11Yo dije en mi transporte de ánimo, o perturbacion: Todos los hombres son falaces.
12Mas ¿cómo podré corresponder al Señor por todas las mercedes que me ha hecho?
13Tomaré el cáliz de la salud, e invocaré el nombre del Señor.
14Cumpliré al Señor mis votos en presencia de todo su pueblo.
15De gran precio es a los ojos del Señor la muerte de sus santos.
16Oh Señor, siervo tuyo soy, siervo tuyo e hijo de esclava tuya. Tú rompiste mis cadenas;
17a ti ofreceré yo un sacrificio de alabanza, e invocaré el Nombre del Señor.
18Cumpliré mis votos al Señor a la vista de todo su pueblo,
19en los atrios de la casa del Señor, en medio de ti, ¡oh Jerusalén !

1AMO á Jehová, pues ha oído mi voz y mis súplicas.
2Porque ha inclinado á mí su oído, invocaréle por tanto en todos mis días.
3Rodeáronme los dolores de la muerte, me encontraron las angustias del sepulcro: angustia y dolor había yo hallado.
4Entonces invoqué el nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Libra ahora, oh Jehová, mi alma.
5Clemente es Jehová y justo; sí, misericordioso es nuestro Dios.
6Jehová guarda á los sinceros: estaba yo postrado, y salvóme.
7Vuelve, oh alma mía, á tu reposo; porque Jehová te ha hecho bien.
8Pues tú has librado mi alma de la muerte, mis ojos de lágrimas, y mis pies de desbarrar.
9Andaré delante de Jehová en la tierra de los vivientes.
10Creí; por tanto hablé, estando afligido en gran manera.
11Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.
12¿Qué pagaré á Jehová por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?
13Tomaré la copa de la salud, é invocaré el nombre de Jehová.
14Ahora pagaré mis votos á Jehová delante de todo su pueblo.
15Estimada es en los ojos de Jehová la muerte de sus santos.
16Oh Jehová, que yo soy tu siervo, yo tu siervo, hijo de tu sierva: rompiste mis prisiones.
17Te ofreceré sacrificio de alabanza, é invocaré el nombre de Jehová.
18A Jehová pagaré ahora mis votos delante de todo su pueblo;
19En los atrios de la casa de Jehová, en medio de ti, oh Jerusalem. Aleluya.

1I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
World English Bible
1I love the LORD, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.
2Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
3The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.
4Then I called on the LORD’s name: “LORD, I beg you, deliver my soul.”
5The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.
6The LORD preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.
7Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
8For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
