1Non point à nous, ô Eternel ! non point à nous, mais à ton Nom donne gloire pour l’amour de ta miséricorde, pour l’amour de ta vérité.
2Pourquoi diraient les nations : où est maintenant leur Dieu ?
3Certes notre Dieu est aux cieux ; il fait tout ce qu’il lui plaît.
4Leurs dieux sont des dieux d’or et d’argent, un ouvrage des mains d’homme.
5Ils ont une bouche, et ne parlent point ; ils ont des yeux, et ne voient point ;
6Ils ont des oreilles, et n’entendent point ; ils ont un nez, et ils n’en flairent point ;
7Des mains, et ils n’en touchent point ; des pieds, et ils n’en marchent point ; et ils ne rendent aucun son de leur gosier.
8Que ceux qui les font, et tous ceux qui s’y confient, leur soient faits semblables.
9Israël confie-toi en l’Eternel ; il est le secours et le bouclier de ceux qui se confient en lui.
10Maison d’Aaron, confiez-vous en l’Eternel ; il est leur aide et leur bouclier.
11Vous qui craignez l’Eternel, confiez-vous en l’Eternel ; il est leur aide et leur bouclier.
12L’Eternel s’est souvenu de nous, il bénira, il bénira la maison d’Israël, il bénira la maison d’Aaron.
13Il bénira ceux qui craignent l’Eternel, tant les petits que les grands.
14L’Eternel ajoutera bénédiction sur vous, sur vous et sur vos enfants.
15Vous êtes bénis de l’Eternel, qui a fait les cieux et la terre.
16Quant aux Cieux, les Cieux sont à l’Eternel ; mais il a donné la terre aux enfants des hommes.
17Les morts, et tous ceux qui descendent où l’on ne dit plus mot, ne loueront point l’Eternel.
18Mais nous, nous bénirons l’Eternel dès maintenant, et à toujours. Louez l’Eternel.

2Por qué dirán las gentes: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?
3Y nuestro Dios está en los cielos: todo lo que quiso ha hecho.
4Sus ídolos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
5Tienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;
6Orejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;
7Manos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.
8Como ellos son los que los hacen; cualquiera que en ellos confía.
9Oh Israel, confía en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
10Casa de Aarón, confiad en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
11Los que teméis á Jehová, confiad en Jehová: él es su ayuda y su escudo.
12Jehová se acordó de nosotros: nos bendecirá: bendecirá á la casa de Israel; bendecirá á la casa de Aarón.
13Bendecirá á los que temen á Jehová; á chicos y á grandes.
14Acrecentará Jehová bendición sobre vosotros; sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.

1Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
2Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.

2Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
3But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they don’t speak. They have eyes, but they don’t see.
6They have ears, but they don’t hear. They have noses, but they don’t smell.
7They have hands, but they don’t feel. They have feet, but they don’t walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
10House of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
11You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
12The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
