1¡Hallelú Yah! Cuando Israel salió de Egipto, —la casa de Jacob de entre un pueblo bárbaro—
2Judá vino a ser su santuario, Israel su imperio.
3El mar, al ver, huyó; el Jordán volvió atrás.
4Los montes saltaron como carneros, los collados como corderillos.
5¿Qué tienes, mar, para huir y tú, Jordán, para volver atrás?
6¿Montes, para saltar como carneros; collados, como corderillos?
7Tiembla, oh tierra, ante la faz del Señor, ante la faz del Dios de Jacob,
8que convierte la peña en estanque, la roca en fuente de aguas.
9No a nosotros, Yahvé, no a nosotros, sino a tu Nombre da la gloria por tu misericordia y tu fidelidad.
10Por qué habrían de decir los gentiles: “¿Dónde está el Dios de estos?”
11El Dios nuestro está en el cielo; Él hace todo cuanto quiere.
12Los ídolos de aquellos son plata y oro, hechura de mano de hombre:
13tienen boca, pero no hablan; tienen ojos, mas no ven;
14tienen orejas y no oyen; tienen narices y no huelen;
15tienen manos y no palpan, tienen pies y no andan; y de su garganta no sale voz.
16Semejantes a ellos serán quienes los hacen, quienquiera confía en ellos.
17La casa de Israel confía en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo.
18La casa de Aarón confía en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo.
19Los temerosos de Yahvé confían en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo.
20Yahvé se acuerda de nosotros y nos bendecirá: bendecirá a la casa de Israel, bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.
21Bendecirá a los que temen a Yahvé, tanto a pequeños como a grandes.
22Yahvé os multiplicará a vosotros y a vuestros hijos.
23Sois benditos del Señor que hizo el cielo y la tierra.
24El cielo es cielo de Yahvé; mas dio la tierra a los hijos de los hombres.
25Los muertos no alaban a Yahvé, ninguno de los que bajan al sepulcro.
26Nosotros, en cambio, bendecimos a Yah, desde ahora y para siempre.

1Aleluya. ALABAD, siervos de Jehová, alabad el nombre de Jehová.
2Sea el nombre de Jehová bendito, desde ahora y para siempre.
3Desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone, sea alabado el nombre de Jehová.
4Alto sobre todas las naciones es Jehová; sobre los cielos su gloria.
5¿Quién como Jehová nuestro Dios, que ha enaltecido su habitación,
6Que se humilla á mirar en el cielo y en la tierra?
7El levanta del polvo al pobre, y al menesteroso alza del estiércol,
8Para hacerlos sentar con los príncipes, con los príncipes de su pueblo.
9El hace habitar en familia á la estéril, gozosa en ser madre de hijos. Aleluya.

2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised.
4The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
6Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
