1Alleluia ! ALEPH. Heureux l'homme qui craint Yahweh, BETH. qui met toute sa joie à observer ses préceptes !
2GHIMEL. Sa postérité sera puissante sur la terre, DALETH. la race des justes sera bénie.
3HÉ. Il a dans sa maison bien-être et richesse, VAV. et sa justice subsiste à jamais.
4ZAÏN. La lumière se lève dans les ténèbres pour les hommes droits, HETH. pour celui qui est miséricordieux, compatissant et juste.
5TETH. Heureux l'homme qui exerce la miséricorde et qui prête : YOD. en justice il fait prévaloir sa cause.
6CAPH. Car il ne sera jamais ébranlé ; LAMED. le juste laissera une mémoire éternelle.
7MEM. Il ne craint pas les funestes nouvelles ; NUN. son cœur est ferme, confiant en Yahweh.
8SAMECH. Son cœur est inébranlable, il ne craint pas, AÏN. jusqu'à ce qu'il voie ses ennemis abattus.
9PHÉ. Il sème l'aumône, il donne à l'indigent ; TSADÉ. sa justice subsiste à jamais, QOPH. sa corne s'élève avec gloire.
10RESCH. Le méchant le voit et s'irrite, SCHIN. il grince des dents et l'envie le consume : THAV. le désir des méchants périra.

1Aleluya. BIENAVENTURADO el hombre que teme á Jehová, y en sus mandamientos se deleita en gran manera.
2Su simiente será poderosa en la tierra: la generación de los rectos será bendita.
3Hacienda y riquezas hay en su casa; y su justicia permanece para siempre.
4Resplandeció en las tinieblas luz á los rectos: es clemente, y misericordioso, y justo.
5El hombre de bien tiene misericordia y presta; gobierna sus cosas con juicio.
6Por lo cual no resbalará para siempre: en memoria eterna será el justo.
7De mala fama no tendrá temor: su corazón está apercibido, confiado en Jehová.
8Asentado está su corazón, no temerá, hasta que vea en sus enemigos su deseo.
9Esparce, da á los pobres: su justicia permanece para siempre; su cuerno será ensalzado en gloria.
10Verálo el impío, y se despechará; crujirá los dientes, y se repudrirá: perecerá el deseo de los impíos.

1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his commandments.
2His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
3Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.
4Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.
5It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.
6For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.
7He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
8His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.
9He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
10The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
