1Unto the end, a psalm for David.
2O God, be not thou silent in thy praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.
3They have spoken against with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.
4Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.
5And they repaid me evil for good: and hatred for my love.
6Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand.
7When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin.
8May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take.
9May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
10Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.
11May the userer search all his substance: and let strangers plunder his labours.
12May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.
13May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.
14May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15May they be before the lord continually, and let the memory of them perish from the earth:
16Because he remembered not to show mercy,
17But persecuted the poor man and the beggar; and the broken in heart, to put him to death.
18And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him: and he would not have blessing, and it shall be far from him. And he put on cursing, like a garment: and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil in his bones.
19May it be unto him like a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle with which he is girded continually.
20This is the work of them who detract me before the Lord; and who speak evils against my soul.
21But thou, O Lord, do with for thy names sake: because thy mercy is sweet. Do thou deliver me.
22For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.
23I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.
24My knees are weakened through fasting: and my flesh is changed for oil.
25And I am become a reproach to them: they saw me and they shaked their heads,
26Help me, O Lord my God; save me according to thy mercy.
27And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.
28They will curse and thou will bless: let them that rise up against me be confounded: but thy servant shall rejoice.
29Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with the their confusion as with a double cloak.
30I will give great thanks to the Lord with my mouth: and in the midst of many I will praise him.
31Because he hath stood at the right hand of the poor, to save my soul from persecutors.

2Despiértate, salterio y arpa: despertaré al alba.
3Te alabaré, oh Jehová, entre los pueblos; á ti cantaré salmos entre las naciones.
4Porque grande más que los cielos es tu misericordia, y hasta los cielos tu verdad.
5Ensálzate, oh Dios, sobre los cielos; y sobre toda la tierra tu gloria.
6Para que sean librados tus amados, salva con tu diestra y respóndeme.
7Dios habló por su santuario: alegraréme, repartiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.
8Mío es Galaad, mío es Manasés; y Ephraim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá es mi legislador;
9Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio: sobre Edom echaré mi calzado; regocijaréme sobre Palestina.
10¿Quién me guiará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿quién me guiará hasta Idumea?
11Ciertamente tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
12Danos socorro en la angustia: porque mentirosa es la salud del hombre.
13En Dios haremos proezas: y él hollará nuestros enemigos.

1O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
9Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
11Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

1My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
2Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
3I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
4For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
6That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
7God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
8Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.
9Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
10Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
11Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
12Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
13Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.
