Salmos 107
Biblia Torres Amat
1Alabad al Señor, porque es tan bueno, porque es eterna su misericordia.
2Que lo digan aquellos que fueron redimidos por el Señor, a los cuales rescató del poder del enemigo, y que ha recogido de las regiones,
3del oriente y del poniente; del norte y de la parte del mar, o mediodía.
4Anduvieron errantes por la soledad, por lugares áridos, sin hallar camino para llegar a alguna ciudad donde albergarse.
5Hambrientos y sedientos, iba desfalleciendo ya su espíritu.
6Clamaron al Señor en su tribulación, y los sacó de sus angustias.
7Y los encaminó por la vía recta, para que llegasen a la ciudad en que debían habitar.
8Glorifiquen al Señor por su misericordia y por sus maravillas en favor de los hijos de los hombres.
9Porque sació al alma sedienta; colmó de bienes al alma hambrienta.
10Libró a los que yacían entre tinieblas y sombras de muerte, cautivos en la aflicción y entre cadenas.
11Mas porque contradijeron las palabras de Dios y despreciaron los designios del Altísimo,
12fue abatido su corazón con los trabajos; quedaron sin fuerzas; y no hubo quien los socorriese.
13Pero clamaron al Señor viéndose atribulados, y los libró de sus angustias.
14Y los sacó de las tinieblas y sombras de la muerte; y rompió sus cadenas.
15Glorifiquen al Señor por su misericordia y por sus maravillas a favor de los hijos de los hombres.
16Porque quebrantó las puertas de bronce e hizo pedazos los cerrojos de hierro.
17Los recogió del camino de su iniquidad; pues por sus maldades habían sido abismados.
18Llegó su alma a aborrecer todo alimento, y llegaron hasta las puertas de la muerte.
19Pero clamaron al Señor al verse atribulados, y los libró de sus angustias.
20Envió su palabra, y los sanó, y los salvó de su perdición.
21Glorifiquen al Señor por su misericordia y por sus maravillas, a favor de los hijos de los hombres.
22Y les ofrezcan éstos sacrificios de alabanza, y celebren con júbilo sus obras.
23Los que surcan el mar con naves, y están maniobrando en medio de tantas aguas,
24ésos han visto las obras del Señor y sus maravillas en el profundo del mar.
25Dijo, y sopló el viento tempestuoso, y se encresparon las olas.
26Suben hasta los cielos, y bajan hasta los abismos. En medio de estas angustias desfallecía el alma de ellos.
27Llenos de turbación vacilaban como ebrios, y se desvaneció toda su sabiduría.
28Pero clamaron al Señor en la tribulación y los sacó de sus apuros.
29Cambió el huracán en viento suave, y calmaron las olas del mar.
30Se regocijaron ellos viendo el mar sosegado y el Señor los condujo al puerto deseado.
31Glorifiquen al Señor por su misericordia y por sus maravillas a favor de los hijos de los hombres.
32Y ensalcen su gloria en la congregación del pueblo, y lo alaben en el consejo de los ancianos.
33El Señor convirtió los ríos en páramos, y en sequedades los manantiales de agua;
34la tierra fructífera en salinas, por causa de la malicia de sus habitantes.
35Convirtió el desierto en un país de estanques de aguas, y la tierra seca en manantiales.
36Y estableció en ella a los hambrientos; y fundaron ciudades para su habitación.
37Sembraron los campos, y plantaron viñas y produjeron abundantes frutos.
38Y los bendijo el Señor, y se multiplicaron sobremanera; y acrecentó sus ganados.
39Y vinieron a menos, y fueron oprimidos con trabajos y dolores.
40Cayó el desprecio sobre los príncipes, y los hizo andar errantes por lugares desiertos, donde no había senda alguna.
41Y libró al pobre de la miseria, y multiplicó las familias como rebaños de ovejas.
42Verán estas cosas los justos y se llenarán de gozo, y toda iniquidad cerrará su boca.
43¿Quién es sabio para conservar estas cosas, y comprender la misericordia del Señor?

1ALABAD á Jehová, porque es bueno; porque para siempre es su misericordia.
2Díganlo los redimidos de Jehová, los que ha redimido del poder del enemigo,
3Y los ha congregado de las tierras, del oriente y del occidente, del aquilón y de la mar.
4Anduvieron perdidos por el desierto, por la soledad sin camino, no hallando ciudad de población.
5Hambrientos y sedientos, su alma desfallecía en ellos.
6Habiendo empero clamado á Jehová en su angustia, librólos de sus aflicciones:
7Y dirigiólos por camino derecho, para que viniesen á ciudad de población.
8Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.
9Porque sació al alma menesterosa, y llenó de bien al alma hambrienta.
10Los que moraban en tinieblas y sombra de muerte, aprisionados en aflicción y en hierros;
11Por cuanto fueron rebeldes á las palabras de Jehová, y aborrecieron el consejo del Altísimo,
12Por lo que quebrantó él con trabajo sus corazones, cayeron y no hubo quien les ayudase;
13Luego que clamaron á Jehová en su angustia, librólos de sus aflicciones.
14Sacólos de las tinieblas y de la sombra de muerte, y rompió sus prisiones.
15Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.
16Porque quebrantó las puertas de bronce, y desmenuzó los cerrojos de hierro.
17Los insensatos, á causa del camino de su rebelión y á causa de sus maldades, fueron afligidos.
18Su alma abominó toda vianda, y llegaron hasta las puertas de la muerte.
19Mas clamaron á Jehová en su angustia, y salvólos de sus aflicciones.
20Envió su palabra, y curólos, y librólos de su ruina.
21Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres:
22Y sacrifiquen sacrificios de alabanza, y publiquen sus obras con júbilo.
23Los que descienden á la mar en navíos, y hacen negocio en las muchas aguas,
24Ellos han visto las obras de Jehová, y sus maravillas en el profundo.
25El dijo, é hizo saltar el viento de la tempestad, que levanta sus ondas.
26Suben á los cielos, descienden á los abismos: sus almas se derriten con el mal.
27Tiemblan, y titubean como borrachos, y toda su ciencia es perdida.
28Claman empero á Jehová en su angustia, y líbralos de sus aflicciones.
29Hace parar la tempestad en sosiego, y se apaciguan sus ondas.
30Alégranse luego porque se reposaron; y él los guía al puerto que deseaban.
31Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.
32Y ensálcenlo en la congregación del pueblo; y en consistorio de ancianos lo alaben.
33El vuelve los ríos en desierto, y los manantiales de las aguas en secadales;
34La tierra fructífera en salados, por la maldad de los que la habitan.
35Vuelve el desierto en estanques de aguas, y la tierra seca en manantiales.
36Y allí aposenta á los hambrientos, y disponen ciudad para habitación;
37Y siembran campos, y plantan viñas, y rinden crecido fruto.
38Y los bendice, y se multiplican en gran manera; y no disminuye sus bestias.
39Y luego son menoscabados y abatidos á causa de tiranía, de males y congojas.
40El derrama menosprecio sobre los príncipes, y les hace andar errados, vagabundos, sin camino:
41Y levanta al pobre de la miseria, y hace multiplicar las familias como rebaños de ovejas.
42Vean los rectos, y alégrense; y toda maldad cierre su boca.
43¿Quién es sabio y guardará estas cosas, y entenderá las misericordias de Jehová?

1O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
16For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
20He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
21Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
22And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
28Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
32Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
41Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
42The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

24these see the LORD’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep.
25For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.
26They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
27They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
28Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

30Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.

33He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
34and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
35He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
36There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
37sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
38He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.
39Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
40He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
41Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
42The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
43Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.
