Quantunque ei fosser ridotti a pochi, e fosser vessati da molti affanni, e dolori:

Contamináronse así con sus obras, y fornicaron con sus hechos.

Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Thus they were defiled with their works, and prostituted themselves in their deeds.
