1(Von David; ein Psalm.) Von Güte und Recht will ich singen; dir, HERR, will ich Psalmen singen.
2Ich will weislich handeln auf vollkommenem Weg; – wann wirst du zu mir kommen? – Im Innern meines Hauses will ich wandeln in Lauterkeit meines Herzens.
3Ich will kein Belialsstück vor meine Augen stellen. Das Tun der Abtrünnigen hasse ich, es soll mir nicht ankleben.
4Ein verkehrtes Herz soll von mir weichen, den Bösen will ich nicht kennen.
5Wer seinen Nächsten heimlich verleumdet, den will ich vertilgen; wer stolzer Augen und hochmütigen Herzens ist, den will ich nicht dulden.
6Meine Augen werden gerichtet sein auf die Treuen im Land, damit sie bei mir wohnen; wer auf vollkommenem Weg wandelt, der soll mir dienen.
7Nicht soll wohnen im Innern meines Hauses, wer Trug übt; wer Lügen redet, soll nicht bestehen vor meinen Augen.
8Jeden Morgen will ich vertilgen alle Gottlosen des Landes, um aus der Stadt des HERRN auszurotten alle, die Frevel tun.

1Salmo de David. MISERICORDIA y juicio cantaré: á ti cantaré yo, oh Jehová.
2Entenderé en el camino de la perfección cuando vinieres á mí: en integridad de mi corazón andaré en medio de mi casa.
3No pondré delante de mis ojos cosa injusta: aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían: ninguno de ellos se allegará á mí.
4Corazón perverso se apartará de mí; no conoceré al malvado.
5Al que solapadamente infama á su prójimo, yo le cortaré; no sufriré al de ojos altaneros, y de corazón vanidoso.
6Mis ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que estén conmigo: el que anduviere en el camino de la perfección, éste me servirá.
7No habitará dentro de mi casa el que hace fraude: el que habla mentiras no se afirmará delante de mis ojos.
8Por las mañanas cortaré á todos los impíos de la tierra; para extirpar de la ciudad de Jehová á todos los que obraren iniquidad.

1I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
7He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
8I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

1I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To you, LORD, I will sing praises.
2I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.
3I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me.
4A perverse heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil.
5I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won’t tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited.
6My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me.
7He who practices deceit won’t dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood won’t be established before my eyes.
8Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the LORD’s city.
