LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
Sie hat ihr Schlachtvieh geschlachtet, ihren Wein gemischt, auch ihren Tisch bereitet.
Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
Sie hat ihre Mägde ausgesandt; ihr Ruf ergeht oben auf den Anhöhen der Stadt:
Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
Wer einfältig ist, kehre hier ein! Wem es an Verstand gebricht, zu dem spricht sie:
Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
Kommt, genießt von meiner Speise und trinkt von dem Weine, den ich gemischt habe.
Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
Laßt fahren, ihr Einfältigen, eure Thorheit, so werdet ihr leben, und geht einher auf dem Wege der Einsicht.
Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
Wer den Spötter zurechtweist, holt sich selber Schande, und wer den Gottlosen tadelt, dem wird's zum eigenen Schandfleck.
El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
Tadle den Spötter nicht, damit er dich nicht hasse; tadle den Weisen, so wird er dich lieben.
No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
Gieb dem Weisen, so wird er noch weiser werden; belehre den Frommen, so wird er sein Wissen mehren.
Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
Der Weisheit Anfang ist die Furcht Jahwes, und den Heiligen erkennen ist Einsicht.
El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Denn durch mich werden deiner Tage viel, und werden dir die Lebensjahre gemehrt werden.
Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Bist du weise, so bist du dir zu gut weise; bist du aber ein Spötter, so wirst du allein es tragen.
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.

La mujer loca es alborotadora; es simple é ignorante.
A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.

Wer einfältig ist, kehre hier ein! und wem es an Verstand gebricht, zu dem spricht sie:
Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:

Gestohlenes Wasser ist süß, und heimliches Brot schmeckt lieblich.
Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
“Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”
Und er weiß nicht, daß die Schatten dort hausen, in der Unterwelt Tiefen sich befinden, die von ihr geladen sind.
Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.
But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
