LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
elle a égorgé ses victimes, mêlé son vin, et dressé sa table.
Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
Envoyant ses suivantes elle invite, du faîte des hauteurs de la ville :
Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
« Quiconque est faible, qu'il entre ici ! » Et elle dit à qui manque de sens :
Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
« Venez, mangez de mon pain, et buvez du vin que j'ai mêlé !
Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
Renoncez à la faiblesse, et vous aurez la vie, et suivez la voie de la raison !
Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
Qui corrige le moqueur, s'attire un affront, et qui reprend l'impie, un outrage.
El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
Ne corrige pas le moqueur, de peur qu'il ne te haïsse ! Corrige le sage, et il t'aimera !
No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
Donne au sage, il devient plus sage encore ; instruis le juste, il augmente sa science.
Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
Le principe de la sagesse, c'est la crainte de l'Éternel ; et la connaissance du Très-haut, c'est l'intelligence.
El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Oui, je multiplie le nombre de tes jours, et j'augmente celui de tes années de vie.
Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.
Es-tu sage, c'est pour toi que tu es sage ; et, si tu es un moqueur, seul tu en subiras la peine. »
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
Il est encore une femme, la folie ; elle est agitée, irréfléchie et ignorante de toutes choses.
La mujer loca es alborotadora; es simple é ignorante.
A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
The foolish woman is loud, undisciplined, and knows nothing.
Elle se place à la porte de sa maison, sur un siège au haut de la ville,
Siéntase en una silla á la puerta de su casa, en lo alto de la ciudad,
For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,

pour inviter les passants, qui marchent droit dans leur voie :
Para llamar á los que pasan por el camino, que van por sus caminos derechos.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
to call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways,
« Que les faibles entrent ici ! » Et elle dit à celui qui manque de sens :
Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:

Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

Et il ne sait pas que là sont les ombres, et que ses invités sont dans les vallées des Enfers.
Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.
But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
