LA sabiduría edificó su casa, labró sus siete columnas;
Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars.
Ela preparou a sua carne. Ela misturou o seu vinho. Ela também preparou a sua mesa.
Mató sus víctimas, templó su vino, y puso su mesa.
She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
She has prepared her meat. She has mixed her wine. She has also set her table.
Ela enviou as suas servas. Ela clama dos lugares mais altos da cidade:
Envió sus criadas; sobre lo más alto de la ciudad clamó:
She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
She has sent out her maidens. She cries from the highest places of the city:
“Quem for simples, volte-se para cá!” Quanto àquele que é falto de entendimento, ela lhe diz:
Cualquiera simple, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
“Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!” As for him who is void of understanding, she says to him,
“Venha, coma do meu pão, e beba do vinho que misturei!
Venid, comed mi pan, y bebed del vino que yo he templado.
Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.
“Come, eat some of my bread, Drink some of the wine which I have mixed!
Abandone os seus caminhos simples, e viva. Ande no caminho do entendimento.”
Dejad las simplezas, y vivid; y andad por el camino de la inteligencia.
Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
Aquele que corrige o zombador atrai sobre si o insulto. Aquele que repreende o ímpio atrai sobre si o abuso.
El que corrige al escarnecedor, afrenta se acarrea: el que reprende al impío, se atrae mancha.
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
One who corrects a mocker invites insult. One who reproves a wicked man invites abuse.
Não repreenda o escarnecedor, para que ele não o odeie. Repreenda o sábio, e ele o amará.
No reprendas al escarnecedor, porque no te aborrezca; corrige al sabio, y te amará.
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Don’t reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you. Reprove a wise person, and he will love you.
Instrua o sábio, e ele se tornará ainda mais sábio. Ensine o justo, e ele crescerá em aprendizado.
Da al sabio, y será más sabio: enseña al justo, y acrecerá su saber.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Instruct a wise person, and he will be still wiser. Teach a righteous person, and he will increase in learning.
O temor do SENHOR é o princípio da sabedoria. O conhecimento do Santo é o entendimento.
El temor de Jehová es el principio de la sabiduría; y la ciencia de los santos es inteligencia.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Pois por mim os seus dias se multiplicarão. Os anos da sua vida serão aumentados.
Porque por mí se aumentarán tus días, y años de vida se te añadirán.
For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.
Se você for sábio, será sábio para si mesmo. Se você zombar, só você sofrerá as consequências.
Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
A mulher insensata é barulhenta, indisciplinada, e não sabe nada.
La mujer loca es alborotadora; es simple é ignorante.
A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
The foolish woman is loud, undisciplined, and knows nothing.
Ela se senta à porta da sua casa, num assento nos lugares altos da cidade,
Siéntase en una silla á la puerta de su casa, en lo alto de la ciudad,
For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
She sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
para chamar os que passam, os que seguem direto os seus caminhos:
Para llamar á los que pasan por el camino, que van por sus caminos derechos.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
to call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways,
“Quem for simples, volte-se para cá.” Quanto àquele que é falto de entendimento, ela lhe diz:
Cualquiera simple, dice, venga acá. A los faltos de cordura dijo:
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

“A água roubada é doce. O pão comido às escondidas é saboroso.”
Las aguas hurtadas son dulces, y el pan comido en oculto es suave.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
“Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”
Mas ele não sabe que os espíritos dos mortos estão ali, que os convidados dela estão nas profundezas do Seol.
Y no saben que allí están los muertos; que sus convidados están en los profundos de la sepultura.
But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
