Proverbios 9

Se tu sarai saggio, lo sarai in tuo pro: ma se tu se' un derisore, ne porterai il danno tu solo.

Si fueres sabio, para ti lo serás: mas si fueres escarnecedor, pagarás tú solo.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. If you mock, you alone will bear it.
