¿No clama la Sabiduría? El Entendimiento ¿no levanta su voz?
¿NO clama la sabiduría, y da su voz la inteligencia?
Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?
En las cimas de los montes al lado de las calles, en los cruces, la Sabiduría ha tomado su posición.
En los altos cabezos, junto al camino, á las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
On the top of high places by the way, where the paths meet, she stands.
Ante las puertas de la entrada a la ciudad, en las entradas a la ciudad, ella clama.
En el lugar de las puertas, á la entrada de la ciudad, á la entrada de las puertas da voces:
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud:
"Es a ustedes, gente que yo llamo; mi voz es para los hijos de la humanidad.
Oh hombres, á vosotros clamo; y mi voz es á los hijos de los hombres.
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
“I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.
Ustedes que son ingenuos, aprendan sabiduría; y ustedes que son necios, deben entender.
Entended, simples, discreción; y vosotros, locos, entrad en cordura.
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!
Escuchen, porque hablaré cosas nobles, y cuando mis labios se abran diré cosas rectas.
Oid, porque hablaré cosas excelentes; y abriré mis labios para cosas rectas.
Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.
Pues mi boca habla lo que es confiable, y la maldad es detestable a mis labios.
Porque mi boca hablará verdad, y la impiedad abominan mis labios.
For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

Todas las palabras de mi boca son justas; en ellas no hay nada torcido ni engañoso.
En justicia son todas las razones de mi boca; no hay en ellas cosa perversa ni torcida.

Todas ellas son rectas para la persona que entiende; mis palabras son honestas para aquellos que encuentran el conocimiento.
Todas ellas son rectas al que entiende, y razonables á los que han hallado sabiduría.
They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Adquieran mi instrucción antes que plata; adquieran conocimiento antes que oro puro.
Recibid mi enseñanza, y no plata; y ciencia antes que el oro escogido.

Pues la Sabiduría es mejor que las joyas; no hay tesoro igual a ella.
Porque mejor es la sabiduría que las piedras preciosas; y todas las cosas que se pueden desear, no son de comparar con ella.

Yo, la Sabiduría, vivo con la Prudencia, y Yo poseo conocimiento y discreción.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.
“I, wisdom, have made prudence my dwelling. Find out knowledge and discretion.
El temor del SEÑOR es odiar el mal. Yo odio el orgullo y la arrogancia, el mal camino, y el discurso perverso. Los odio.
El temor de Jehová es aborrecer el mal; la soberbia y la arrogancia, y el mal camino y la boca perversa, aborrezco.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
Yo tengo buenos consejos y sana sabiduría; yo soy la intuición; la fuerza me pertenece a mí.
Conmigo está el consejo y el ser; yo soy la inteligencia; mía es la fortaleza.
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
Counsel and sound knowledge are mine. I have understanding and power.
Por mí los reyes reinan, también los nobles, y todos los que gobiernan justamente.
Por mí reinan los reyes, y los príncipes determinan justicia.
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

Por mí los príncipes gobiernan, los nobles, y todos los que gobiernan con justicia.

Yo amo a aquellos que me aman, y aquellos que me buscan con diligencia me encuentran.

Conmigo están las riquezas y el honor, la riqueza duradera y la rectitud.

Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

Mi fruto es mejor que el oro, aún que el oro fino; mi producto es mejor que la plata pura.
Mejor es mi fruto que el oro, y que el oro refinado; y mi rédito mejor que la plata escogida.
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Yo ando en el camino de la rectitud, en medio de los caminos de la justicia.
Por vereda de justicia guiaré, por en medio de sendas de juicio;
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Como resultado, Yo hago que aquellos que me aman hereden riquezas; Yo lleno sus tesoros.
Para hacer heredar á mis amigos el ser, y que yo hincha sus tesoros.
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

El SEÑOR me creó en el principio, el primero de Sus hechos en aquel entonces.
Jehová me poseía en el principio de su camino, ya de antiguo, antes de sus obras.
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

Hace mucho tiempo fui hecha, desde el principio, desde los principios de la tierra.
Eternalmente tuve el principado, desde el principio, antes de la tierra.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth existed.
Antes de que hubiera océanos, yo fui dada a luz, antes de que hubiera manantiales con abundante agua.
Antes de los abismos fuí engendrada; antes que fuesen las fuentes de las muchas aguas.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

Yo nací antes de que el SEÑOR hiciera la tierra o los campos, o tan siquiera el primer polvo en el mundo.
No había aún hecho la tierra, ni las campiñas, ni el principio del polvo del mundo.
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Yo estuve ahí cuando Él estableció los cielos, cuando dibujó un círculo en la superficie de las profundidades.

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the heavens, I was there. When he set a circle on the surface of the deep,
Yo estuve allí cuando Él estableció las nubes arriba y cuando los manantiales en las profundidades fueron fijados.
Cuando afirmaba los cielos arriba, cuando afirmaba las fuentes del abismo;
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong,
Yo estuve allí cuando Él puso Su límite para el mar, para que las aguas no se dispersaran más allá de Su mandato, y cuando fue establecido el límite para los fundamentos de la tierra seca.
Cuando ponía á la mar su estatuto, y á las aguas, que no pasasen su mandamiento; cuando establecía los fundamentos de la tierra;
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
when he gave to the sea its boundary, that the waters should not violate his commandment, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,
Yo estuve junto a Él, como un hábil artesano; yo era Su deleite día tras día, siempre regocijándome delante de Él.
Con él estaba yo ordenándolo todo; y fuí su delicia todos los días, teniendo solaz delante de él en todo tiempo.
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
then I was the craftsman by his side. I was a delight day by day, always rejoicing before him,
Yo me alegraba en todo Su mundo, y mi deleite estaba en los hijos de la humanidad.
Huélgome en la parte habitable de su tierra; y mis delicias son con los hijos de los hombres.
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

Ahora, hijos míos, escúchenme, pues aquellos que mantienen mis caminos serán bendecidos.
Ahora pues, hijos, oidme; y bienaventurados los que guardaren mis caminos.
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
Escuchen mi instrucción y sean sabios; no la descuiden.
Atended el consejo, y sed sabios, y no lo menospreciéis.
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.
Aquel que me escuche será bendecido. Él estará velando todos los días en mis puertas, esperando junto a los postes de mis puertas.
Bienaventurado el hombre que me oye, velando á mis puertas cada día, guardando los umbrales de mis entradas.
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.
Pues cualquiera que me encuentre, encuentra la vida, y encontrará el favor del SEÑOR.
Porque el que me hallare, hallará la vida, y alcanzará el favor de Jehová.
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from the LORD.
Pero aquel que falle, hiere su propia vida; todos los que me odian, aman la muerte."
Mas el que peca contra mí, defrauda su alma: todos los que me aborrecen, aman la muerte.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.”
